Doesn't take long to afford mjölner then. You should write a more in depth guide about this. I'm sure people would be interested.

Actually I said it was Doable, meaning it can be done, but extremely hard. I sold 2 5 link Belly of beast yesterday that was 40% and 39% for almost 8 exalts, and a ring for 3 exalt.

Two days ago I sold a 6 Link with Health/Tri-resist evasion chest for 8 exalts.

Just saying , things like this is what makes it "Doable".

I might be wrong, but I thought I said on average I would make like 50-150 chaos on days that I really grind it out. Thats like 1-3 exalt. Making 1-3 exalt is not a stretch and if you keep at it, you will for sure have a couple days a week where you hit that 10 exalt from those big ticket items. I been making ton of exalts just buying Belly of Beast, 6 socket and then attempting to 6 link it. I ended up so far flipping like 8 of them for a ton of exalts. 2-4 each on average.

Maybe I will write a more in depth guide on how I make currency, but honestly there are probably better guides already out. I know like ziggyd has some good guides out, and I feel allot of it is just understanding what items are worth currency and what items are not. Understanding the flow of the game, meta builds, and so on. All these things combined can really help you to get ahead.

Ah the classical ''I know the meta and what to sell / I pick up junk that sells / I get lucky and play the tradechat all day and flip for 10 exalts'' speech.

To be fair, that IS how you do it. Its just asking a lot for many people to work that hard on something that's not killing monsters, particularly those aversive to the whole economy thing in the first place.

In other words, its easily doable and not that hard, the process just isn't enjoyable for a lot of people.

Funny. All that time spent trading, wonder how you find time to play and pick up the ingredients in the first place. Many times I heard that speech I traced the person back to shady websites. If you know what I mean, there is too much freedom of speech and non-censorship on these forums for me to say it comfortably.

It's interesting to hear how the top buisnessmen make so much orbs every day. But it's not something i think i will be doing. All this flipping.

And to be honest allot of what it comes down to is play time. I put lot of hours in this game everyday. I work out of the house and so I have the luxury to game allot when I am not playing with my kids.

It will always be this way I feel, if you put allot more time into any game you will get allot more out of it. Unfortunately I know this is not realistic for most people to play this much.

i saw your build here and i got a mjolner catching dust aswell since the block nerfs

im curious can your build do atziri and the vaals/trio without problems and can it do maps without any mod restrictions if no what map mods are hard?

I do atziri at level 85 fairly well enough, I mean you can't just face roll it like a shav/crit Mjolner build with 6500 ES and Voll's Neck and Atziri gloves. but you can definitely do her easy enough.

I usually swap arc out with Conc effect when I get to her and do her pretty quickly.

I have not had any problems with any map mods, but I do avoid some just because I dont like certain map mods, like temp chains. Just because they are so annoying :)

Iv done up to 78 maps though no problem with this build. If you die it is usually just from being stupid and not paying attention.

I am currently running 2 Rumi's so you can almost always have one up 100% of the time, which means you pretty much take zero damage 60% of the time, and the other 40% is really reduced allot and countered with insane life leech going off instantly with vaal pact. 15k armour makes and 6k'ish life makes you pretty tanky.

Granted like I said the damage is not as good as a Crit based Shav/Acuity/Devotion build with 6500 ES but that build cost like 200 exalts too. And I die all time when using the crit based version where I never die on life based. I mean I can play the life based version easy enough on Hardcore leagues.
