I can confirm that Maloney's Nightfall isn't part of the recipe. When designing Maloney's, the "Shadows and Dust" unique came up in discussion (I didn't know then precisely which item it was) with Rory in regards to another item that also generates smoke clouds. It was just to ensure the items didn't trample over each others design themes etc.
