Recommend Me a Good Anime (Samkiud's "to Watch" List)

Hello human, putting my recomendations:

Karas: It's a short anime of 6 episodes I think, the animation is good and the story is not bad. Yes, it has fights. No, the fights though necesary for the plot to develop is not the main aspect of the story.

C-The money of soul and the possibility of control: thought it may look like a shonen, and it's probably one, it's one strange for the kind of topic it talks about: Economy. Instead of the typical superpower world, this takes place in the "real" world, and it shows the power of mony in the society and how the future pf people is highly influenced by it. Flashy fights, so if you don't like that, skip it. Twelve episodes long.

Monster: Definitely not intended for youngsters or children. Nothing NSFW, don't worry. The animaton is more sober and the story is more mature. It's a long thriller anime with a slow beggining, but it gets better.

Mushishi: Each episode has its own little story, told through the eyes of the main character. The stories deal with the relationship between mythological nature and humans.

Those are the four that came faster to my mind when I read the Original post. Apart from those I'd recommend you Hunter x Hunter. It's a shonnen, I know, but it stand over the others, in my opinion.

Damn, I'd recommended to NOT watch Sword Art Online, as it is easily one of the worst popular shows that gained immense popularity for some reason, but I guess it's too late now.
Should have watched Log Horizon instead. The main character is a million times more interesting there.

What I do recommend:
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo - based on the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, but the story is told from another person's perspective and set in the distant future.

For example Neon Genesis Evangelion is better as manga than anime. Dragon Ball are mainly fights but few first books are funny with not much fights. Last thing I red from manga was "Domu" - that one was very good as well.

From out of Japan comix I red last time "Raven". That was heavy comix, but you have to read why that comix book come to reality. Than it hits the right feelings.. Heavy..

Hmmm... If you hadn't ruled out pink colour, then I would've recommended Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Well, it... changes though. Just... watch the first 3 episodes, then decide. Damn, you really cannot explain it without spoiling anything. Let's just say "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

My second recommendation would be the Monogatari Series. It has quite a few seasons, the timeline can be confusing and it has lots of dialogue, but it is really interesting and has a lot of twists and a pretty unique art style. It maybe does not quite fit your preferences, but I think it might be worth a try.

Last, but most certainly not least there would be Re:zero (everyone calls it that way and the full name is just too long to remember ._.). It's still ongoing, but DAMN is it intense. It starts like pretty much every anime where the protagonist is transfered to a parallel dimension/fantasy world, but it changes. A lot and fast.
