This is weird, I get all the colours and everything, but unless I use 'always highlight' I see absolutely nothing, even when a chaos drop or something, it's not shown.

I do. I made sure and redownloaded it. I also made sure to override the old file and reloded it ingame. but still chromrecipe items in a 4-link do not show up for me ( with the white background colour ...

Hey guys.
Having trouble getting this to work at all. I've followed the installation instructions but it just won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Screens below.

@notporn: it works only in the beta (and later in awakening)
(Edit: whoops, sorry, got confused)


@wissen8: the rgb rule is far down in this script, if you want that colouring for 4L, you have to move it up.
It's just a text file. look at line 1050 for

#RGB's for chromatic recipe!

cut it, and paste somewhere above the 4L rule, for example at line 145. Done.

Yeah I know. I'm in the beta. Hence the awakeningbeta_Config.ini file. I get it to say "Item filter loaded successfully" yet it does jack.

For science, please make a filter loaded with gibberish. Load, and see if it gives and error or if it says successful. Also, what type of text editor are you using?

Loaded one with gibberish, it came back saying successfull. I used the standard textpad for the gibberish one. The original filter I tried to get running was pulled straight from the link in the original post in this thread.

I have exactly the same problem, can't get it to work although the game says "successful" ... :(

I followed all the steps, yes my folder is a .FILTER type (lower case in the actual file) etc.


Edit : just tried with a Gibberish.folder file with random text in it and the option for filters is now gone from the UI panel in game.. hmm
Edit 2 : nvm I named the gibberish .folder instead of . filter -_- it shows now. I tried with Antnee's filter too and it says successful but won't work either.

At this point i'll just contact support it seems

Currently the former entry is like half of the entire document above the latter entry. And the former entry directly causes no special coloring when you're low level.

is there somewhere a place where the "standard" ggg color codes are listed? for the magic blue, the rare yellow and the unique gold?
