Dear Etup

Technically what they are expecting everyone to be is like an "Etup".

Unfortunately this is not that type of "competitive game" (Shooter, MOBA, Fighter) where you try to emulate the highest level of play in the most mechanical plays/methods perfect manner across a systemic complex web of choice making.

The type of competitive game similar to along the lines of competitive Pokemon, TGC, or speed runs of single player games.

Unlike the former, the latter is about the journey of personally becoming better choosing your own way. For example I can choose to speedrun a 100% competition of a game, or no sidequest, or glitch through as much as possible ect. The important thing is I choose my pace and my game, In TGC I can choose what format, what type of deck I want to play, the money range, only play with my friends/group ect.

You cannot expect people in the type 2 kind of competitive game to play at a type/pace that they weren't going to do anyway and balance around that certain type/pace.

Etup bashing his way to 100 using the best way possible in the most broken way possible in the current game version, playing 12+ hours a day using the most meta knowledge and devouring his entire life and hobby time into this singular game is not the metric of balance you should care about. You should look into "why" he does this sort of thing and make them pointless or more healthy for other people to emulate or not necessary for other players to follow.

For example if Etup can do the entire method of ensuring 100q+ on a map + a ton of other steps to max out profits/xp from a map and also have it possible split the cost between a entire party, allow it in the game. Just allow a much lesser but unlimited version for people to not go the same trouble. He gets his super optimized hardcore play (hits level 100 first in 2 weeks), players choose the latter still are behind in but still feel good. They can be competitive in trying to optimize in what they they want to do.

His focus is XP, he doesn't even care about currency. He does Domination for the XP from 5 extra strongboxes with Magic Monsters.

For Map drops he suggested to run Onslaugh instead.

Anyway,yeah, this is no fun. Especially for people who don't have friends. BibleThump.
