Why is there no good unique One Handed Swords?

So I looked at the list of all the Unique Weapons in the game, and its like every weapon type has a good high level viable Unique version, except for One Handed Swords.

What gives?

Just cause.

I think they have many uniques still on the shelf designed by diamond supporters. There will be something for all of us in the end.

The game is still in Beta, an unfinished state, that's what gives.

There are no unique 1h axes.
At least there are "bad" unique 1h swords.

Cheer up! One handed swords can have the highest dps in the game out of any physical damage items so I wouldn't call it that bad and you get to use a shield or another one!

Certainly usefull for a CI crit caster build ;) (i assume that those 10% reduced life won't kill you with CI, or am i wrong here?)

I'm using it on a 1h sword/shield Marauder at the moment. He is only level 40 and I haven't found a sword with better damage yet. He has solo'd up to Act 2 Cruel difficulty so far without any issues.

Oh, yeah of course it is really good for its lvl, i was just thinking about end game viability (becasue later you'll find something better for the marauder, but an CI character build around spell crits could use it forever :) - if it doesn't kill him instantly of course :P)
