Orb of Scouring on quality gems?

So using Scouring Orbs on a lvl'd gem will make it back to lvl 1. What if you Scour a lvl'd quality gem, will it keep or remove the quality bonus?
I was just wondering about this, would be nice if anyone had an answer! Thanks in advance :) IGN: Rustet

ive never tried it but i really don't think the quality would be lowered.

Just to clarify here for anyone who is unaware of this recipe - you need 1 orb of scouring for each level of them gem that you want to lose. So if you have a level 20 gem and want to go back to level 1 - you would need 20 orbs.

" to clarify: If you want to reduce your lvl 20 gem: You need to sell the gem and ONLY ONE orb of scouring, 19 times. that's 19 sales to the vendor of 1 gem and 1 scour. please do not make the mistake of selling 1 gem and 19 scours at one time... it'll make you a sad panda :( thx for reading! :) edited the number 20 and replaced with the number 19 Последняя редакция: Josephoenix#2379.
