Cast when stunned + Skyforth

Viper, he wants to be stunned.

adghar is saying that using Valyrium is an easier way to get stunned all the time than using Skyforth.

(aka have hardly any ES and get stunned by every hit with Valyrium).

OP should just use the ring, use RF to burn off all of their ES so that the 50% stun avoidance doesn't apply, and go from there. Should be able to get away with just the ES from RotP.

So I just hopped in game to try my Valyrium Cast when Stunned Winquisitor, and let me say, I think your build could be really super OP. Why? I feel like my Winquisitor is highly unoptimized at the moment.

Before you wrote your post, I was running only 2 CwS spells. I was actually really disappointed, because in my mind, I was expecting more than that, as I was making the build. It then occurred to me that it would make more sense to link up to 3 spells to each other instead of supports like Controlled Destruction, since the 2nd spell is essentially "100% more DPS" and the third spell would be "50% more DPS." The problem is that I'm kind of reliant on Increased Critical Strikes support because of the Winquisitor ascendancy... something that a Berserker build could probably "get around" with its 40% more Damage. So I'm limited in how many CwSs I can put up.

Also, only one of my links is providing Life Leech. With Berserker ascendancy, you could get massive 3% leech with every Spell while crowd clearing, and a respectable 1% leech (101% after Savage Hit) against bosses. I really feel the pain when my Life Leech CwS doesn't go off.

Also, my main damage dealer at the moment is Bladefall, which is physical, so it feels like I don't even need the Winquisitor ascendancy. It's wasted on a good portion of my damage.

Even with all of those optimisation fails, my Winquisitor still steamrolls through packs like nobody's business. A bit slow on bosses - I couldn't stand standing around doing nothing, so I have 1 self-cast linkup - but the crowd clear is just ridiculous.



Put this on an RF Zerker, optimise well, and you will melt face.

EDIT2: Forgot to mention. I said "before you wrote this post, I was running only 2 CwS" but never wrote the payoff. I'm currently running 4 now, probably with much higher DPS and leech. Lol, I feel dumb that I didn't use setups like this before.

EDIT3: Up to 5! Fingers crossed that this actually feels better than before.

I use Frenzy - Fortify - Faster Attacks because if you're going to rely on getting Hit, you need to be able to survive those Hits, so Fortify is essential. I usually run it with Frenzy because of Frenzy's more damage, but... you could easily replace that whole 3L with Vigilant Strike. That frees up 2 slots.

I have 4 slots eating up reservations: Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, and Blasphemy - Enfeeble. Enfeeble is, again, essential, because you rely on getting Hit, and you either have to use Skyforth or Valyrium, either of which will hit your maximum Life potential because neither of them have Life on them. But as a Zerker you could maybe cut down on gems needed here? Purity of Fire... nah, you'd still want 4 slots eating it up for an optimised build, as far as I can tell.

Enduring Cry essential for me. Again, you have to be able to survive Hits.

I'm currently using Cospri's Will, so there are 2 more slots being occupied for curses. With Zerker, they probably wouldn't be as necessary (I'm using AssMark + Warlord's Mark for 2nd and 3rd curses; Zerker has damage and leech already). So there's 2 more spells there!

That's actually a bit disappointing, I was hoping I could free up way more slots if I had optimised better. +4 is actually pretty good though. Could work 2 or 3 more Spells.

Maybe if one worked in ED/Contagion, the "single target" could simply be Wither, adding more slots there.
