The thing is I got bv duration enchant on my helm with which I could give up inc duration gem and spec in inc crit strike gem which gave me insane dps boost! I can get about 46-47 stacks and 50 stacks with silver flask on ,which isn't too bad.

Im currently grinding the last remaining pieces to fit the build. I do have one question though, have you had problems running into volatile packs with negative chaos res? I see chaos damage being a slight problem with random deaths, or am I wrong?

The Shavronne's Wrappings chest prevents chaos damage from bypassing your ES and hitting your life pool. Also with pathfinder and an atziri's promise you're chaos res capped. Cause you know, pathfinder is fair and balanced. Heh.

Thanks for the reply. Wow, I had no idea Pathfinder was that OP. Looking at the Ascendancy I guess I completely overlooked the +30 chaos res when using a flask, coupled with atziri's flask and the bonus increased effects.

I was going to use my free respec on my 97 witch on standard when Prophecy merges, guess I'll be doing that on my 90 Ranger. :)

Hey guys! 

I am planning to run this build in the next temp league on Hardcore (only play HC),
and I really would like to know your opinions/experiences about the following issues:

As I personally require AT LEAST 10k ES, better 11k on HC I guess Pathfinder is no option?
I like Pathfinder a lot, as occultist just provides me the PC on kill and a bit ES.
With Pathfinder I would get my power charges via Assassin’s Mark (won’t be able to buy skyforth I guess). 

Next very important point: What aura setup would you recommend me for Hardcore?
The main question is: If I hit the 11K es, are the three purity Auras really necessary ?
I think it’s gonna be hard to lose 11k due to ele dmg -> but I never played a BV build before
(as HC player I liked ranged builds, so I’m missing the experience about close combat).

 Next point is the Aura-setup, what would you recommend?
I really like grace on an ES based char in combination with Jade Flask 100% in order not to get hit to stop the ES refill.
But do I need it even though we have life leech?
Warlords Mark Blasphemy Setup is a must-have for me, also nice for gaining endurance charges.

So I would go for:
Grace
Warlords Mark
Herald of Ice (or not ?)
Discipline
Assassins Mark
Hatred 
Makes total 230% mana reservation (WITH HoI), excluding “reduced mana reserved” and enlighten, so that should work fine.
But only if I don’t pick the three purity Auras ..

 Next point is the fact, I wonder if 2% lifeleech in total are enough, or shall I try to hit 4% with warlords mark?
If not, I could drop the leech gem, which would be nice as my dmg will be pretty low compared to Softcore build :-)

 I’ve seen many BV Videos using flicker strike, would this pump up the map clear speed?
It also provides 100% fortify, or should I be fine with whiring blades? I plan to use a Divinarius until I can get a rare dagger that beats it.

You need life leech in your 6L gem links for atziri. Please copy the gem links listed in guide. Other than that, everything looks OK.
