This whole ordeal is causing some huge headaches for us linux users, wine complains a lot about missing dll's, after manually pulling them in from vcrun2015 and setting them as a native override in winecfg I got rid of all warnings, but now poe just silently crashes on startup or in the middle of downloading the patch. I have no linux based distro installed to test right now, but I think last time I checked Wine had terrible support for VC2015.

deleted all MVR's
reinstaled 2015 versions,

and i still cant play =(

Yep, you're absolutely correct. There's a lot of issues with VC2015, it's rated "garbage" on winehq still. Right now I'm just hoping it CAN be solved.

Okay, I'm obviously not the only one having issues. Never had a problem before with patches, now it's just error, error, error! Initially it told me it couldn't install because I already had some version of the game already going, since then I've been getting this message time and time again -

Error: Failed writing received data to disk/application while downloading http://patch607.pathofexile.com8095/patch/2.1.2.7/PathOfExile.exe

Any thoughts?

Any solution so far? It's been 2 hours. :(

is anyone playing on mac having an issue downloading the patch?
