[2.2] 100% chaos ICE TRAPPER - UBER down (T15 Abyss Double Boss fight in 10 sec!!)
" I run Blasphemy-Temporal Chains-Enfeeble in a Heretic's Veil. In spite of having a relatively low life pool, the dual curse setup is absolutely fantastic. Melee never gets to you due to TC and hits that you do take are usually mitigated by enfeeble. If you like this setup, you can take Whispers of Doom to support dual curse until such time as you can afford/craft a decent +1 curse amulet. Последняя редакция: hankinsohl#1231. " Looking at prices on POE you should make roughly 45c or so profit by selling a 6-socket, 5-link and then buying the cheapest CJ with reasonable stats. 45c will get you about 290 jewelers. On average, 6-socketting a 20-quality item will take about 240 jewelers. So you'd make about 7c in profit on average. Against the 7c average profit though there's a chance that 6-socketting could take a lot more than 240 jewelers in which case you'd stand to lose. So, at the current prices I wouldn't bother selling and I'd just try to 6-link the CJ you have now. |

Today was glorious :D. After playing for just 2 months got my first 6L on fusing (spent 300+), so beautiful:
![]() Take a look at the tooltip with charges + atziri's flask (4 gems 19/20, 2 20/20). Using Cont Destruction now, tomorrow will grab a 20/20 Conc Effect and try some uber runs. ![]() Последняя редакция: tgodoy85#4726. Время: 8 апр. 2016 г., 00:16:38

I did some testing tonight to try and work out some of the mechanics of Ice Trap and Cluster Traps.
Here's what I found: Ice Trap appears to have a base radius of effect somewhere in the range of 15 to 17, based on the explosion graphic as measured inside an Elreon hideout using the square floor tiles to help measure. My guess is that the base radius is 16, slightly larger than Fire Trap which has a base radius of 15. Cluster Traps (when used without Multiple Traps) causes 4 traps to be thrown at once. The traps are randomly dispersed in a circular pattern centered on the cursor; the radius of this circle appears to be roughly 16, again using an Elreon hideout to help measure. The dispersal radius of Cluster Traps does not seem to be affected by modifiers to AOE. Rather it's a fixed value. What this means is that when you throw a cluster of Ice Traps at a single target, all 4 traps will end up within range of the target. When the cluster explodes, all 4 Ice Traps will hit a mob at the center of the cluster so long as you haven't decreased the base radius (you won't do this using this build, but you could achieve this, for example, by using Conc Effect, a zero quality Ice Trap and take no increased AOE nodes). Note: I'm assuming that traps within a cluster retain their AOE radius; in other words, I'm assuming that a trap within a cluster won't somehow have a smaller explosion radius than that same trap when thrown as a single trap. This assumption seems reasonable and is very likely the way that Cluster Traps is implemented but it would be extremely difficult to test. Based on the above, for single target DPS, a +1 Tabula Rasa will yield higher damage than a non +1 Carcass Jack because all 4 Ice Traps will hit the single target for both chest pieces. However, the increased AOE offered by Carcass Jack will help with clear speed since you'll hit more mobs given the larger Ice Trap explosions. Последняя редакция: hankinsohl#1231. " HC? How's your survivability? |
|
" Did Uber like 3 times on Softcore: died only twice: once on trash, once on 2nd boss bleed. |
