[2.2] 100% chaos ICE TRAPPER - UBER down (T15 Abyss Double Boss fight in 10 sec!!)

Ok, I'm seeing 40K+ numbers on traps with screenshots showing it's possible. When I'm 3 frenzy, 3 power, I'm at 24k.

Where am I missing that much damage? UnleashedTraps is the character. Very little deviation from passive point choices in the build guide. Gems I believe are correct... items are pretty decent, I think?

Well for one thing you're using increased AoE which gives minimal damage boost. Good for clearing maps but not good if you care about tooltip numbers.

Try Atziri`s Promise + Conc. effect + Herald of Ice 20/20.


3 frenzy, 4 power, atziri`s flask poped, 11 traps placed, conc. effect 18 lvl/20 quality, all other 19 gems w/o quality

Atziri's promise for what ? The life leech ? We don't do any elemental or physical damage.

Edit: Hmm, seems damage boost is calculated before the final conversion to chaos so the flask works. Good to know.

If thats a crit version, then its pretty low dmg. Should be around 50k without buffs.

For non-crit version im getting over 45k when fully buffed, so something is wrong with this setup.


Buff = flask/conc/auras/11traps/frenzy /// +zo on non crit

Hi Guys,
thanks for the great build I recently switched from Ice trap to Chaos Ice trap and the damage boost is just Insane. Before I was at around 3-4k per trap and after the switch and leveling my gems a bit plus the gear they are now at 12k dmg and still growing.

Now today I had a funny moment and wanted to share it with you guys and ask if it happens when you play aswell. It could just be my video options, my gfx card or something.

In short my Shadow went full Ninja and disappeared!
It is caused by CWDT+IC+Phase run when a Quartz Flask is active ;)

I`m using OP`s tree, and my crit chance is around 17%(and 22% w/o contolled desctruction. i`m not usin void manipulation) . But i feel that there more than enough damage and don`t want to boost crit(easily finish Twin and 8 mods Colosseum).
Can u share ur tree?
Edit: I hope i`ll get 5-10k more damage, when all my gems will be 20/20

Nothing is wrong with his setup. 40K is without auras. As the OP said most of us are using clarity and herald of ice instead of a damage aura. Your setup is very different.

I wonder how can I get to 40k+ dps? I'm lvl 86 and with charges + flask im at 28k. Any advice?

Why do you guys keep using the wrong gems and then ask why you have low damage ? A simple comparison between your gems and the OP will give you the answer...
