generosity & necromancer commander of darkness interaction

so commander of darkness says

Auras you Cast grant 6% increased Damage to you and Allies
Auras you Cast grant 2% increased Attack and Cast Speed to you and Allies

does this mean that the bonus is tacked on to the aura itself, and not its own instance of a buff?

and if it's the former, does having generosity on that aura mean i don't benefit from the damage + speed buffs and that allies gain the generosity bonus on it?

so i just tried it, and looks like i've all but confirmed my suspicions. an aura with generosity will NOT let you benefit from the commander of darkness bonuses, but your allies will gain that sweet percentage improvement. so a level 1 generosity effectively grants 7.2% damage and 2.4% speed, and level 20 will grant 8.34% damage and 2.78% speed

Leer Cast and Dying Breath are counting to the bonus ?
