Depends on what you want from your character. Vaal Ancestral Warchief + Vaal Double Strike seems like a core with 6 link because you can one shot bosses without phases. There are alot of options to think out. Enlighten allows you to use hatred + two heralds, endurying cry is a good 1 socket skill, vaal grace, blasphemy + temporal chains.

Also I wouldn't use Elemental Focus with Frost Blades because the main reason why I prefer FB over LS is freezing, which is an extra defensive mechanic.
Diamond flask with shock immunity is better than Atziri's Promise.

Thank you very much for the many options for skills! Just one last question regarding the flask. Will a Sin's Rebirth work better than the diamond flask?

This build is A+ fun. I don't trade or re-roll so I've never had the experience of starting T1 on 100k+, two charge types sustained, and high mobility.

I thought survivability would suffer by now, but the leech is insane and WB gets you out of anything.

Diamond gives the best DPS increase from flasks. Also it provides craftable preffix / suffix. But if you can afford Sin's Rebirth it's not going to be bad in any cases.

Having a little difficulty with T9 maps. I am planning on grabbing a few more life nodes on the skill tree.

However, I was wondering if anyone can take a look at my gear and skill gems. Other than getting higher DPS claws once I can afford it, is there anything I should upgrade/swap out? Open to all suggestions to improve my shadow.

You can apply only one curse without any additional items / nodes.

Read the skill article one more time and fix everything.

If you follow this build, but with the changes of crown is heavy (about the acrobatics node) and use "Double Strike + Vaal Double Strike " in the Bringer of Rain with Maim + Ruthless + Multistrike + Critical Damage, the damage is boosted a lot, at the point of reduce enemies to ash.
LS/FB is very good for kiting, but FB is better.

A curse on hit gem + curse can work with an CWDT + curse?

CWDT casts a spell and i'm not sure that counts as a "hit". my gut feeling (not home currently) is that it would not work simultaneously, if that's what you're asking.

but, just like in the build, you can run them both. whichever happens last will override the previous one. so normally in battle i will curse on hit with AM and eventually if i get hit, CWDT will override that curse with enfeeble.

only way you can get both curses on them is via special items/corruptions or skill tree changes to get "enemies can have an additional curse"

started to play a bit here and there, thanks for your patience, and glad everyone is having fun. liking the new BoR buff. hit over 5k life with dogshit gear.
