Having ES gives you a number of buffs from your ascendancies.
And your ES is constantly recharging even while being damaged (which wasn't the case when I last played ES many leagues ago, so unless it was changed it should be the combination of passives), which makes you fairly durable.

Bonus: It's great for staying in the darkness while delving.

get a vertex, put a level 21 vaal blight in there with efficacy, cont dest, infused channeling
get atziri’s reflection (8.5ex) , coward’s legacy (<1ex), multimodded wand (5-6ex)

With MoM, I've gotten to the point where my unreserved mana is 150. My Soulrend casts are 120ish - and I don't exactly need to spam it.

My current auras are Malevolence, Arctic Armor (using the Perfect Form - so that doesn't matter I guess), Flesh and Stone and Discipline. Sorry, I've been trying to level and gear a Slayer Elehit, I wasn't really looking through this thread all weekend. It looks like you swapped Zealotry with Discipline to reserve all your mana. I'm a bit skeptical on the upside of that aura with a chaos DOT curse build, because we are not a crit build, and we also don't have extra synergies with conc ground (when compared to say Inquisitor). Lemme know how that change feels, it's definitely not BAD especially when it's "free". I don't know the exact total ES you're trading away, but I'd agree the benefits that come with Zealotry are at the very least comparable to what you're trading away.

If you could get enough resist on a rare boot that has similar specs to the Atziri Step, you might be able to combo Mark of the Shaper with an elder resist ring. That would have alot more impact on your power than anything you can do with mana reservation. Although finding a boot that fits that mold might be hard, so a 10ex malevolence watchers could also be the next logical step.

For me personally, I kind of drew a line and said my build is strong enough as is, I'm gonna stop sinking money into it for now. I did craft a few elder rings and I think I can just throw on a Mark of the Shaper right now, at the cost of 1 skill gem cuz I'd lose the unset ring, and also lose some chaos res. But ED is so powerful even without min/maxing like crazy, I haven't bothered lol.

I don't think there's a way to make ED+Cont efficient at doing the Emblem battles, and if you want to do that it's gonna be better to make a specialist character for that purpose. If you're crushing delve, alva temple, and T16 monoliths, which you probably are, then congratz, you built your character well. :)

I used the MoM calculator (for SSFHC) but to me it seems that keeping ES is better compared to MoM + EB + Wicked or do I miss something?

3200 life, 1000ES, 600 unreserved mana.

So I am beginning my grind for level 100 and am wondering what are the most effective upgrades I should be going for. The grind plan is to spam elder Arid Lakes while doing Delves. I have 12 exalts and ~400 chaos to spend if needed. Obviously I am still wasting some gem slots, but I am still in the process of re-coloring my chest as it is not easy getting multiple non-greens onto QoTF (or The Perfect Form, should I decide to swap to it), and I think a defensive setup of some kind will be better there, as I don't think I can further improve my offense through another link?

I think my biggest fear is dying to legion mobs one shotting me but am wondering if I am overcompensating it at the cost of damage. I can comfortably kill almost all packs in one hit, but feel like I waste a lot of time killing (and being careful) with Legion rares.

Click on your character's picture right next to your character's name on the top left, your character's screen will open up. While holding down Ctrl and Alt, click on each items that you want displayed, then close that window and the codes will be in your post.

Make sure to set your profile to public so we can see your characters.
