Hi guys ! Currently lvl 63 witch in dried lake merc :) I have few questions:

- I just spend 350+ Jeweller's orb on my staff( was 5sockets 2L before that) and spend all the Alts orbs i have to buy them from pnj. what's the best way to buy them ? Is there just my bad rng or wrong way to 6sockets ?

- I have really bad Belt/Rings/Gloves that i want to change. I have 40chaos budget. I suck at searching on poe trade, I found nothing yet, and didn't drop good stuff ( tried the craft section of the leveling guide, but didn't find anything)

-When should I changed the boots ( 70) and the chest ( drop 400+ ES chest ? ) ?

- Do you have other advices on my character ?

First of all, i finally 6s my staff :D

I on the guide saw that Auxium Crystal belt is the 2nd best choice ( before the essence crafting )but don't understand why.

What's the budget i should put into gloves/belt ?

I really need to change gear 'cause even dried lake merc is hard to run with the stuff i have atm :s

Leap Slam takes 0.8 sec to cast, has about 60% chance to hit a single target in high tiers and gives you a 5 sec Fortify.

Vigilant Strike takes 0.45 sec to cast, always has 100% chance to hit and gives you a 12 sec Fortify.

VS was hard to target until one of the recent patches. Now it's easy to use and far superior to the Fortify support added to Leap Slam. It's nice to auto-fortify when you leap into a pack (with multiple targets it always hits something because Leap Slam is AoE), but it's not really needed for clearing. And against the bosses getting a 12 sec Fortify quickly and reliably can be a life saver.

Thanks for this advice, i dind't realise that vigilant Strike is effective for 12 sec, obviously better tran a leap slam + fortify, who force me to jump again and again, when i have to fight a very strong boss ^^ I will change that asap!

A last question, when the ball lighting activate from Cwdt, is it consider like "using a lighting spell" from the ascendensy node "Mastermind of Discord"? Because sometimes i forget to cast the orb of storm, not a realy big deal, regarding the large amount of dammage this build can inflict, but i wonder?

For 15-20 chaos, you can have realy nice boots or gloves, with Int, Es and some rez if you miss some. For your boots, you can use Rainbowtride ( but you will need to change later) Not bad ES, some rez, mouvement speed which is always nice to have. You can add me IG, i can trade you for very chipe price my oldest gloves, they have a decent ES(137) int, cold rez and +11 all attributes.

Hey everyone, and sorry if this has already been discussed, but 300 pages are quite a lot to read everything.

Is Flammability an option as the second or third curse ?

Is it better to go Elemental Focus and pass on the ignites, or rather keep the Concentrated Effect, to keep the occasionnal ignite ?

Right now at level 50 I don't really see the drawback of Concentrated, because the Icestorm is cast so much while channeling it easily covers my screen when fighting huge packs of monsters.

Auxium is the 2nd best because it is cheap, has lots of ES, and makes you much less susceptible to being frozen. End-game you want an INT crystal belt (preferably with ES and resists), but that's quite expensive.

Wow - started this character as my 2nd this league in LSC (casual player, 1-3h a day, weekends more) and just hit lvl 90 yesterday and my little witch just rocks. I pretty much only die because of bad PC / connection issues, but apart from that: super tanky and kills everything (even bosses) within seconds. Enfeeble, EE Core map with some more map mods - ez game...!

Thanks to some wiggling with my jewels I was able to put my resistances at 132 for all 3 elements - so not only helps with extra penetration but also with a nice reduction to all incoming elemental damage. With end. charges and the flask ele weakness maps aren't to much of a problem either.
Next I will try to get the jewel socket in the shadow area, try to get some better jewels in general and hopefully claim my gfs PC on one of the upcoming weekends to try my luck against the guardians (and shaper). With 8.3k ES, 6.5k Icestorm damage (with golems, sulphur flask and pend. of destr.) I should have a chance, right? Would be my first shaper kill ever, so I'm hyped.
