How do you boost ur fire penetration from 37 to 87? Im about to do shaper. Then I saw the last seconds of your shaper video when you boost ur fire penetration. I just wonder how?¨

What is a good ring? What do I look after to replace "Pyre"

Do I still need the Cold to Fire gem in the staff if I have the old Pyre ring that converts 100% of cold to fire?

Does anyone know how this build is looking for 3.0 as of right now?

1)Do I still need Doedre's Damning after getting Whispers of Doom ?

2)How many curses should I have after lvl90 or for the endgame?

3) I have 7500 ES (lvl85) , Can I do the final labyrinth?

the build wont be RIP, it will still work as life-based, but it's gonna lose a ton of its inherent power and of it's appeal.

you will still be able to clear all content with it in 3.0, but there is probably not much reason to play it over other builds which are more suited to the new balance.

Are there any other builds at all with (a) both range and face tanking capabilities (b) both aoe and boss killing speed (c) no piano flasking (d) damage continues for several seconds after you stop attacking (e) fully geared for at most a few exalts?

If not, then I guess we try hard to make this work with life!

Im looking for exactly the same thing as you atm. ;)

the closest I've come is a firestorm berserker with cloaked in savagery.
or BV.... fulfills all your/my criteria except for the ranged thing. but with some 8k+ life and 100% instant leech, it should work just fine.

Its time to say many thanks for that great build. I never! (i play since closed beta) had so much fun with a build and never so great effort by farming lab and atziri. All maps exept T16 are doable for me and the 16s i try the last 2 weeks who remain.
I tried uber for 2 times but had no sucsess and so i dont try shaper. I am a not perfect player and so i can make mistakes without dying to much.
Only the biggest bosses dont forgive mistakes. :-)

So many thanks for the great build and the help you guys always give in this tread.
If you make a new build i am verry interested to participate.

it was a great time for me and i am a little sad to can not play the build in 3.0. But perhaps you have a solution . :-)

Thank you for this great build Kelvynn. It was really fun to play in Legacy League.
With the 3.0 changes to vaal pact, do you think this build could work as regeneration based build with zealots oath? Skipping the pathing to vaal pact would free up some points to invest in life reg nodes, similar to LL RF builds.
