@ Dalai: don´t make up things (indirectly...) - yes there is a war between djihadists and the west, but it´s complete nonsense to blame all immigrants. Millions of turkish immigrants here for decades. Also the democrats don´t support terrorism, instead immigrants tend to vote for them, because a number of republicans(probably not all, but racism seems to have an influence) hate them and want to get rid of them, in the case of muslim terrorists giving them one more reason.

If I would have to guess, I´d say it will be quiet until September or October, then there will be attacks on U.S. citizens, because ISIS would like to see Trump as President, they want all Muslims to believe that America hates them. Trump is helping them.

Not blaming all immigrants - just saying the ones who are here who commit violent crimes should be sent somewhere else, and the screening needs to be a few magnitudes better for the ones wanting to come here(in other cases, not this one).

The recent (past week) fiasco, where our government mistakenly gave several hundred people citizenship that they actually meant to deport for crimes is probably a better example of how inept the government is at screening.

Google should configure on the jigsaw AI modules to learn about potential terrorists and people who are about to flip their lid and murder others for revenge, or are at risk for suicide. A few good psychologists could help them with the latter, and governments could help them with the former.

That article was drive by journalism at its finest.

We can start with the intro:

Let's look at the author's statements:

" In 2015, in the wake of the San Bernardino and Paris attacks, hate crimes against Muslims and mosques tripled across the United States."


Tripled! So, were there 9 hate crimes instead of 3, or are we talking millions of hate crimes? We don't even know if the hate crimes were more or less numerous than the number of officially recognized terrorist actions.

These hate crimes must be HORRIBLE things, I can only imagine what the worst of the offenders does. Do we know who the worst offender is?

Fortunately, we do. The author tells us:

"This year’s worst offender is Donald Trump."

So, the worst offense was a "thought crime". Someone voicing the idea that we need better screening in the US, and until we get better screening to hold off on admitting members of the group whose members represent the overwhelming majority of terrorist attacks.

So - we can see that the author has no sense of proportion.

How many of the women groped in Germany were asking for it? What was the predominant similarity between all of the offenders?

Fortunately, the human brain allows us to recognize patterns. We can learn how to use that properly to help us, or we can pretend that billions of years of evolution and thousands of years of history mean absolutely nothing and put our rose colored glasses on.

Attacking innocent people is always wrong. Blaming a whole religion is wrong as well.
If you don´t agree on that, there´s something wrong with you people.

The terror group that calls itself Islamic State consists of many young idiots/(former) criminals, that don´t even know much about their religion, they are in no way representatives.
