I would disagree. You're not going to be triggering as many spells so it's gonna be weaker.

Correct me if I interpreted wrongly. 100ms cooldown means at most 10 spell triggers per second. Those 'honest' Mjolnir players could hardly reach 10 hits per second anyway and had to suffer hits that did not trigger anything. Are they not much stronger right now???

Anything with molten strike? I did at least 20 hits per second on a single target. It was good fun.

Ah it was the only item I have that is worth anything. Never planned to sell it so I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

When a player cares more about his wealth than balanced gameplay relative to new changes, we get.... this type of threads.

P.S. I get that OP wasted a lot of time to get his gear and I do sympathize with him, BUT... you have to play a smart game if you don't want the experience of OP. If you spend thousands of IRL hours for that 1 or few ingame items, knowingly they may be changed in the future, your doing it in the "not so smart" way.

It's an achievement in a way much more real than any achievements GGG comes up with. You having "36" by your nick is an example of a "useless" achievement which really does not matter gameplay wise.
Grinding for those last skill points (level 100) or that extra special legacy item are achievements which actually means something for how you play the game.
And it is a grind! Well, in this case was a grind. Now it's just a fraction of that grind. Which just plainly sucks. Same would happen if GGG introduced a button which gave anyone 50+ levels or all league challenges. People WOULD come here complaining how it is unfair and sucks and what-not.

Legacy items should never exist to begin with.
They only piss off new users that want to play the game seriously and then discover that they cant atain best items without paying load of money to people who got it with much less effort.
The game need to feel fair for everybody - the new players and the old - itemization should be equal to everybody. Leagues often break that psychological need of many people, so PoE playerbase will only suffer.

What pisses me off is that they added a cool down to coc triggers but added spell damage to the coc gem to soften the blow.

Mjolner gets zero fuckin love at all. Nothing but nerf for us. The only way we can hope to recover that damage is to roll a zerker and take the 40% more damage node and swap out arc gem with elemental focus.

Even then I'm not sure it will be enough

It's like I was saying. Standard is pretty much worthless for a new players. Everyone who has already been playing years is super rich and the economy is filled with Legacy BS.

Meh, play Leagues... non-issue.

PoE is pretty much just like Diablo 3. Nobody plays Standard or gives two F's about the wealth and items on it.

It's pretty much Seasons/Leagues or Bust.

Got all that sick loot and currency on Standard... Cool Story brah, League time. RESET and back to the freshness.
