Since Wither practically doubles your DPS, I guess Wither totem placement is the thing you should focus on getting better at. The first thing to keep in mind is that you want to place the totem on the opposite side of Shaper relative to you. Shaper won't target the totem directly, so as long as you make him throw balls/beams in the other direction, you should be good.
During the fight (this is harder in p3 when the clone is up), we primarily have the beam phase to really get some damage into the boss. when he starts to beam, we can place a wither totem that we know for sure will not be killed for several seconds. We also want to get in his face as much as possible. if you can manage to make him melee you, that's optimal, as we can easily out regen his hits with a well geared character. This also allows you to keep the totem up while you channel Blight and reapply EDs/Arcane Surge. Also, during add phases, you should place the totem behind him, so that the adds do not kill it, and it applies debuffs to Shaper during the phase. Even though Shaper is immune to damage at this point, he is not immune to debuffs, so you should stack Wither and Blight on him while he spawns adds. Hopefully some of these pointers will make the fight easier for you. What is your Blight tooltip? Pre 3.1 I got him down relatively easily with 7K Blight DPS, and now you probably need around 8.5-9k for similar results assuming you don't use Despair. Последняя редакция: Nedieth. So far, this build has been a pure joy to play. It's not the fastest but still decent in terms of clearing speed. More importantly I can kill the map boss which I couldn't do with my EK nova. That makes this build a superior all-around build which suits me well as a solo player.
As a advise from nedieth I picked up the perfect form and I couldn't be more happier with it. The safety it provides is so underrated. Currently lvl 92 in AHC. Will make a last gear upgrade soon and the plan is to farm shaped Vault. My question for you guys that doing this build is what map mods are rippy for this build when approaching the map boss? Wanna take this build to level 100 if I don't rip before that ^^ Currently eHP around 8k (with mana reservation) and evasion 61% with flasks. Once again, thank you for a great build guide! | |

"  There are some huge tips here. I will definitely apply those next time, once I grind up a set again (minotaur maps just refuse to drop for me, for some reason). I've included my blight damage. It sounds like I have all the damage I need, just need to get my wither totem game on point. |

Is it good idea to buy mf gear for ED character? (have currency for good mf rings and bisco). Now I wonder, do I try it with shavronne, or switch to perfect form and do some adjustments in skill tree to try out mf buid. Which benefits more?

" im very very intereset to see if bisco's work for you. i've tried earlier this league and felt almost no diffrence after about 50 maps, so i sold my biscos. Be carefull, the following is absolutly not verified or confirmed by GGG, it's just my thoughts! so...: For me, it feels like the IIQ and IIR is just applied to the initial hitted enemy. Hi,
Im a new PoE player and i follow this guide. At some point i think i did i big mistake buying Council will all my money cause i didn't understand it was only for boss killing purpose. I wanna use ED for clear map until T11 and make currency so i bough the brighbeak for 1c instead cause i realize that Attack speed is a huge movement boost. I lose some damage but i don't feel it so much on maps ( T6 right now ) ... So should i sell my council ? |

" totaly depend on your needs. you already figured out the pro and cons of both weapons - now it's up on you what you prefer. speed: Brightbeak dmg: Breath of the Council BUT if you're looking for something in between, try to craft or buy a Dagger with Essence of Delirium. The Dagger should have Attack speed mod aswell. !!! Sorry for my "bum english" !!!

having a lot of fun so far. yellow elder was really easy. havent made it further yet. still not sure what flasks suit me best. thanks for the build. here is my gear. cheers
