[outdated] King of the Forest (Crit version)

Hows this holding up since breach is pretty brutal?

I am playing this build and I am really disappointed of my single target damage with barrage. In the video you kill bosses sooo fast.

My gear so far:



I have skilled 6 Ascendancy points. So I hope the last 2 points improve single target damage by a lot.
Also I probably need maxed out Added Chaos. At the moment I am not even sure if barrage is worth it for me.

How important is the drillneck with the additional arrow mod?

The first two points of the poison ascendancy matter a lot. I actually took it and the last two before finishing the crit tree. You really need the toxic tree finished to do great damage especially solo. You also really need to make sure you have max frenzy stacks. I did my merc lab solo at 65 with worse gear than you but I took poison instead of maxing crit so boss dps wasn't so low. I also did it with a 4 link. This build has immense single target but you need the poison tree.

This building after 65 levels. I understand that is end game build. I'm disappointed...

I can't kill easily to breach mobs in circle. It's not tanky, Lightning Arrow damage is nice but not enough. Why we need to aim mobs? It's not easy when you aren't using Reach Council Bow. GMP is drop DPS...

I'm looking for build again. 2 Days wasted. It's not easy or starter build. It's endgame with max gem Quality/Level build. GG.

i am having a lot of probelms with this :( took me like 10 hours to get out cruel. I have drill, tabula, death harp etc... and dps is just extremely low specially barrage. I dont rly know what to do at this point. Its not a good started build imo it needs end game gear to do anything. With out vaal pact i get rekt by breach mobs =/



I think i may respect into BF before i blow anymore currency on it

Don't give up this build is very good. You should change few items and You will love it.
Just change this:
-Gloves for snakebites for poison- 2C
-buy lioneye's glare bow (i could do t9 maps with it)- 2c
-Cruel lab - free
-Get Drillneck - 15c

Dont use price gem in barrage setup before u dont have drillneck. I used Barrage-add chaos-slower projectiles-void manipulatiion.

You must be doing something wrong. It's impossible that with your gear u have so big problems.
You can set Your character to public so i can check it and give u some advice.

all look ok for me, just few thing. Do you need this 2 mana flask ? I see you picked up mana leech passive so you can change it for Diamond and silver for more dps. You can try use harted insted grace and herald of ash. You will need better bow glare is lvl 66 but its cheap and good or death's opus better but expensive.

In tree i would respect evasion movement speed nodes and go for art of gladiator node and projectile dmg below.

You need do normal and cruel lab asap. You should do it easy around 65 lvl.

ps. change that amulet you should get much better for 1c
