probably occultist with valyrium ring is the way to go in HC. almost stun immune with valyrium, more ES, no need for skyforth. you just need anti shock flask on all the time, that'd be all.

And in terms of passives, maybe I reduce the amount of grand spectrums to something like 10 (and an Energy from Within at that one point with life/ES nodes) to focus more on energy shield and crit chance/multiplier? Also not sure whether I should use one or two Vinktar's, granted I only have access to the non-legacy version in EHC.

Did you now, that's quite a jewel.. somehow i think your not telling the truth here..unless you used intuitive leap to get +1 in which case you either pathed miles out of your way or you went inquisitor in which case... i dont even know...

no inquisitor play no traveling just use 1 jewelslot for the jewel and you have already 2 curses to play around with. Thats not a big secret or sience method. this jewel cost 1 chisel in essence league so you can easily get one.

To be honest Mathils build is ok can be used for a league starter is quite cheap and you get good dmg, but i dont like to play inquisitor because his potential of dmg is capped. So on the best side when monsters have capped elemental resist you ignore 75% resist at max you cannot utilize curses, penetration gems or nodes on the tree, enchants and you have to crit otherwhise your dmg just sucks.
And the biggest problem is getting a lot of crit for bow builds is hard to reach even harder as inquisitor.

for budget option since we convert our damage mostly to fire damage, chin sol must be really good for this build.

maybe for those who are having +2 barrage enchantment and +1 signal, it might be better than reach actually.

*self flagallation does not work on mobs but you, you get +1 curse on YOUrself. that is the tricky part : )

since i have no curse nodes and not a corrupted +1 curse amulet or boots that give me +1 because of skyforth thats the way

With 4 power charges and the Increased Critical Strikes gem socketed into my Tornado Shot and Barrage links, I am at 60% critical strike chance? What can I do to improve my crit chance and/or damage (other than +1 arrow on my quiver and +2 Barrage projectiles on my helm)?

Hi are you factoring in your diamond flask into the %crit? I'd get another pc totaling 5 + your diamond flask and you should be good to go.

May I suggest using the 6l for barrage and the 5l your aoe skill? Also with testing, LA is incredible if you have the DPS to support it. By the look of it, you should be able to comfortable sustain and clear higher end maps with LA. Have you given it a shot over TS?

Wed + gmp + tornado shot + PPAD + Inc crit multi + Physical to lightning

OR

Wed + gmp + LA + Chain + inc crit multi + ele focus ( lightning pen if you need to shatter i.e. a map with porcupines)

In testing, even with "budget" gear with a RoTC I found LA better than TS for most everything besides Shaper. Shaper becomes an issue during his ad phase where the frontloaded DPS of TS comes in handy.

I think u need to get your eyes checked or get off the drugs. That does not work... if it works then post a vid of it because otherwise im calling BULLSHIT.

EDIT: I fell into your noob trap and decided to double test it, with the setup u said jewel skyforth, orb coh and 2 curse and guess what ! it doesnt work..

EDIT2: I dont know if u understand what YOU can have 1 additional curse means, it means you can hve +1 curse on YOU not on mobs or it would say only "+1 additional curse". The text matters.
