I'd still say it will melt the balls off of anything. I'm gonna end up doing a weird variation with Eye of Chayula upgrade and go LL + PA for even more damage and probably dual curse. Still destroying everything so far as self cast flameblast in current league.

Currently playing this with 14 GS jewels, pathing to 15th now. Would probably be wiser to grab more es/defensive nodes though. 8.6k es at 82, the damage is insane using a 5l, 1-2 stacks for general clearing in t13-15s.

Feels a little fragile though, will probably need to run enfeeble.

What makes this jewel so special? It gives "only" 4% increased elemental damage per jewel. There are plenty of passive nodes that give 8 or even 12-16% increased elemental damage.

What´s the secret here?

It's special because the bonus from each Grand Spectrum stacks with each other.

So it's basically (4% Elemental Damage) x (Number of Viridian Grand Spectrums) x (Number of Total Grand Spectrums).

In this case it's 4 x 14 x 14 = 784%. The OP makes reference to 980% damage because the jewels used to have 5% elemental damage.
