They'll address auto-targeting for skills that must have a target; an option (that can be set on or off) that will choose the nearest legit target of your skill should you click on a spot where there's none. This will solve targeting for this type of attack skills and also movement skills (e.g. Blink arrow, when you click on a wall, it'll move to the closest spot within its range instead of doing nothing).
How is this related to Cruel? It isn't - I'm assuming Chris was trolling us when he gave the himt ;-) "Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"

- Complete removal of "difficulties", smooth resistances malus along the act and story events, some zone are now harder and expected to be farmed betwen act; expect to be around level 60 at the end of act 5, then farm the new dried lake and begin low level map. trial for lab all along the 5 acts so you can enter it just before act 5 ending (only 1 time for ascending, then Uber lab for the last 2 points). Re-introducing of The maelstrom of Chaos as an alternate way of maping.

You guys are all massively overthinking it. What does cruel relate to most? Bandit rewards being shit, therefore, act 2 being shit - a long standing problem related to ARPGs. I mean, look at every ARPG ever, Act 2 is always the worst act. So they're going to make a major, fundamental change to how Act 2 works:

Since multiple submissions are OK, I'm gonna go with everything I imagine can be easily fixed or at least I have ideas for them off the top of my head :)
Specific selection of items to auto pick-up (like current loot filter, only even more specific rules for auto pick-up) Party play encouragement - specifically defined increased values of drops Less RNG with drops - accumulation of some kind of quest/non tradable/player locked item that will translate into items your character needs Drops that will be specifically needed for your current build In-game and offline trading system Game recognizing frame rate drop/lag will freeze the game so you don't die as often Reality is an illusion, Exile.

GGG headquarters will burn and with it the poe servers... this will cause for poe game to be roll back to patch 1.3. Which will for some strange reason brings a ton of new players to the game as well as veterns that stopped playing due to bad decisions made by GGG since 2.0 release

auto-scalling is the worst thing ever : no sense of progression at all, no feel or sense of a coherent world around you. you go back and with all your shiny op stuff you feel that crab of act 1 are almost as hard to kill than where you where almost naked on the beach... that's irrevelent and stupid in an ARPG content. You have to destroy lower content with no gain, or struggle with higher content if you want to... I hope we will never see this horrible thing here, ever...

" Well, Atlas did change my endgame mapping experience, for the better. I have not had this much fun mapping since patch 1.3. I felt patch 2.0 until 2.3 was like pre patch 1.2, a literal waste of trying to have fun mapping. I will still keep my expectation low since it worked out for me with Atlas too.
