Your Legacy League Starter Build

Im interested in your suggestions for a good league starter in Legacy!

I was thinking about either doing some templar stuff like scorching ray or flameblast/ flameblast totem, or I will do a cheap melee build...any suggestions on this one?

Looking forward to your ideas.

I want do scorching ray but need first get hands on the whispering ice and i feel like that will be painful to play without that staff

I would prefer the legacy Searing Touch over Whispering Ice tbh!

Is there even point from 6L lol? I mean you can get 6L without needing to link 6L

It isn't necessary, and it increases the mana cost of the SR, but it makes it so all of the supports ALSO affect the SR.

Oh lol but i kinda wanna do this build in new league but i cant imagine the pain to level without this staff and i bet this staff will cost a lot in first days

Barring interesting changes in the patch notes, I'm thinking a Fire Nova Mine Saboteur.

Edit: side note regarding Whispering Ice - you can farm the Divination Card for it (The Incantation), in Cruel Western Forest, I did so once, took me like... four or five hours I want to say.

As a league starter you probably want something that doesn't need gear. Totems come to mind, like a Dual Flame Totem Chieftain. Or go Righteous Fire if you feel fancy. Or Flameblast, those seem to be a current favorite.

Or go trapper. Vortex, Bladefall, Fire. Pick one.

Essence Drain and Contagion seems to be a choice, too, but it's a bit too clunky for me.

Most likely hc ssf totems of some kind.

I would say melee is in a better spot than it used to be but still too many cheap rips for me to try it in hc.
