Your Legacy League Starter Build

Just cause of the non love,shockwave totem.

This totem is the best of them all. reach 100-200k dps with self found gear. The cast speed is really fast.
Can get 500k dps with perfect gear ,which is close to warchief with 10x more aoe.


* It got bufffed by lot ( MORE AOE) ..so it can aoe all screens.

the boring aspect of drop and run, very little risk in the build. hit one button and run around until things die isnt any fun to me and to a lot of people. running a build like earthquake, ice crash, flicker strike etc. are fun. you smack stuff in the face and still need to think about where you are standing and whats going on. you dont get that with totems.

I find toteming very dull unless I am actively casting other stuff while playing frogger around incoming damage. That said, I am still probably going to roll one to start off like everyone else.

Jugg EQ for early eaay lab farms sounds good too though, and should be super cheap.

Is there a post to help me determine which league stones to choose for my pizzasticks? I'll probably stick with that build for a couple of weeks at least.

Perandus League easily available; buffs to nodes between Duelist, Ranger, and Shadow; locations streamlined for nodes between Duelist, Ranger, and Shadow; buff to threshold jewel system; buff to baseline damage of one-hand weapons? Gunna be throwing bananas again!

even with perandus available, I don't think getting a varunastra at start of the league will be easy.

Oh I know. The nice thing is that claws are going to be all around better so the transition of farming into Varunastra will be much smoother. I'll likely spec into Claws of the Pride, Claws of the Magpie, Soul Raker, and Deadly Dilettante for my damage and then take care of all my other general usage passive points such as life, frenzy charges, leech, projectile damage, and jewel sockets. Should it take longer than expected to get at least one Varunastra, I can spend excess levels on general bonuses nearby and spec back out of them with regrets later.

Varunastra counting as every weapon makes the build rather flexible for weapon choice early because anything you spec into early will wind up helping anyway.

EQ Juggy... never overlook the classics

I really can't decide between builds so could someone tell me which would be the best (no need to look at the skill trees, they're just there for if you want to)?

1 - Ancestral Warchief Totem Assassin:
Planning on using Abyssus and Marylene's Fallacy, later on I could swap Fallacy out for Legacy Facebreakers to get some crit back. Considered running Assassin's Mark and Vulnerability to get the most out of my poisons / bleeds, along with Enfeeble. Would apply curses with Orb of Storms.

2 - Low Life Frostbolt Spell Totem Inquisitor (using Sire of Shards and the just announced Frozen Trail jewel). Basically this but I'd want a way to convert to fire if possible, alternatively I'd have to use Three Dragons:
