So spells disabled... does that mean spells in effect are still active, but no casting new spells? If so, here comes the macros to swap this armor out, cast spells, swap in, etc.

Other possible combo to swap: temporarily lower dex to disable the body armor by swapping weapon sets (weapon or shield that gives dex to ones that don't), cast spells, swap weapon set to restore dex and re-enable body armor then melee.

That's exactly why there's a "spells do no damage".

Still allows movement skills, and long range/aoe damage first, then buffed melee with swap back in later. And there are ways to make spells do damage indirectly. And if spells were in effect before swapping armor back in, does this negate them? Spell already in play. Would be interesting to get more clarification on that.

Lots of movement skills are no spell (flicker strike, leap slam, whirling blades, blink arrow) so you can still use them with this armor.

"Spells do no damage" has been added especially to counter swapping, so I assume it negates damages that spells you use this way would try to deal.

And "assuming" in PoE is a dangerous endeavor, lol.

That armour would be shit even without ""cant use spells or spells do no damage""

Why would you use a movement skill requiring swapping since others are still usable? Could make sense depending on the build, but really not efficient in my opinion
