Oils are very much w/e people want. If you want an extra curse go for it. If you want more damage (click node power in POB) after uploading your char and see what is best for you to grab. If you want more life/defense/res or w/e take a look at those.

Anointments are not going to be a oh hey this is best one to get and EVERYONE grabs that anointment. It is going to be each person needs a diff thing for each diff character.

No.

That is not how oils work. Oils give your amulet an enchant based on what you put in. SO find a notable you want that is OFF your tree or not a part of it. Then anoint amulet with proper oils to get that mod and its a free extra node that you get. No exchanging is required.
