Question about Uber Lab

I'm looking to make an Uber Lab farming character and I'm torn between characters because I've never done this before. In your guys' opinion, which build has the easiest time? Essence Drain Occultist, EQ Juggernaut, or EQ slayer? Any other opinions on builds would be much appreciated, thanks!

Pizza totems. Flameblast for the jargon-impaired. They're supposed to be able to do anything quite well on a budget.

I do have a flameblast character, but tbh, I really don't think it's an effective uber lab farmer.

Don't see why not. I farmed Uber lab on an Ancestral Warchief toon a couple of leagues ago. Was very fast and safe. Can't see how Pizza totems would be any less effective.

Just comparatively to builds that are build around it. Such as an EQ slayer. They have enough regen from marauder to not really be bothered by traps, and enough defense and leach to be able to kill izaro with no problems.

I'm not saying pizza sticks can't do it, it's just not the most effective build, which is what I'm asking opinions on - the most effective build to farm uber lab.

I don't know about "most effective", but there's probably a meta build out there that does 1 million DPS and costs 100 exalts to gear?

To me, an effective build is one that defeats Izaro safely and quickly. I've never had the luxury of looking for the "best" build to farm Uber. If such a thing exists. I doubt it's something that can be answered objectively because there's just far too many factors in terms of your wealth, your skill, your goals etc.

But best of luck in your quest to find the "most effective" build.

I think you're thinking too much into this. Of course there is going to be a most effective build. Obviously vaal spark isn't going to be good at uber lab, or builds that focus solely on damage. There are several builds that I can think of that can be good, such as EQ slayer or Juggernaut. Why? Because they focus on lots of physical mitigation and regen, things that are needed to get past traps and Izaro.

There are builds out there made for uberlab, and I was just asking what the most effective is as of 2.6

Maybe you should define "most effective" so we're not going around in circles and proffering opinions that don't meet your expectations.

Pizza sticks can do lab fine, but it would be far from my first choice as a budget uber lab farmer... There are much better options that do lab far easier on a budget. Warchief chieftain, Juggernaut or Slayer EQ come to mind.

In my personal opinion, you'll be best off with EQ juggernaut in terms of effectiveness and affordability. Slayer is a close second because of his leech, but the juggernaut has really good survivability from endurance charges.

Essence drain is great if you have really good gear, but if you happen to get hit by a windslash you'll have a tough time recovering health/ES quickly enough to tank the next hit.

Personally I wouldn't go with any build that doesn't have decent leech and the ability to take a huge hit. Pizza totems have basically 0 leech and you'll have to avoid being hit (not super fun or easy).

Now if you've got a large budget, go with the mighty-morphin-HOWA-ranger. Massive damage, massive leech (VP!!), big health pool, and very fast movespeed.
