Is it possible to play Crit Blade Flurry Assassin as SSFLHC?

I was just wondering if it was possible to even attempt at playing this.
Maybe because of low life totals and bad weapons.

Also, stacking heavy poison would be out of the question right? Since I can't rely on luck on getting a bino's or a death's hand or whatever.

If anyone is convinced it's possible, please give me some advice on how to approach it!

Hey. I'm playing exactly this build on ssf lhc. If u want u can check my char it's ssf_philcassidy. So first of all it's not my first char in the league, and i rolled ot only cos i got 2 Mark of the Doubting Knigt daggers, so i wanned to test it. I was also lucky to get bino's. So the 2 motdk version was to slow imo so i sticked with binos and 1 motdk.
Now, i have only 4,3k life, like u predicted life pool will be low. I can probably realisticly aim for up to 5k life but it still not enogh, so i will respec into ci once i get good ES gear (also enough regrets).
Bino's gives really good dps, poison prolif and life regen, motdk makes bleed and poison more consistant. After i go ci i will also grab vp, and i will also ascend in merc lab and hopefully uber once i am ci.
Without binos and motdk u will have less dps but it will still be enogh imo. I'm now running t2-t3 maps without dangerous mods like crit and vulnerability, and also abvously reflect. I do use all leaguesnoes even invasion and beyond. It is really dengerous i must say, and u have to have good reaction time or else u will die to oneshot or u simply won't attack thus leech.
For defences i use: fortify in bf setup, acro phase acro, arrow dancing, tc on blasphemy, decoy totem, blind on my oos setup, smoke flask, a lot of ev and i'm planning to add vaal grace.

Aslobonce ubhave merc and especualy uber done then u will have planty crit for damage imo. U can also use delirium dagger or good rolled rare one in endgame. Also dagger won't be that important if u will go with pure poison setup like addedchaos void manipulation and st wither. But this is second league in a row in asf when i don't get a single added chaos support gem.......

If ur still wandering about the build. Here are my yesturtdays achievements:
Got lofe up to 4.7k
Killed merc malachi
Finished all prep: all essential crit nodes, life, power charge etc.
Chained t3-t4 maps
Killed merc izaro
Killed Atziri
My experience so far:
I will probably go with this setup to mid yellow maps with no problem. Dps and survivabiloty is that good
Merc izaro was easy
Atziri was hard, need even more dps. Went to 1k life 1 time

There are some things i need to test before i can make my conclusions about red maps, uber lab(i need to find 2 missing trials) and farming atziri on regular base. But i would say that i'm alsmost certain that doing red maps with 2 or more dangerous mods will get u killed with that low life pool, simply because of low buffer for oneshots.
Will try to craft delirium dagger (i have 1 delirium) also i desperatly need added chaos.
If i get 6l with added chaos my bf link will be: bf-fortify-melee physical-fa-void manipulation-added chaos. With delirium and bino's i will most certainly farm atziri with np
Oh and i did endup not using vaal grace and insted added vaal lightning trap for burst damage.

I am! I just think leveling as shadow sucks until you get to blade flurry.

There really isn't another skill in my opinion that's as smooth as BF.

U level till bf with anything u want. It's not that long till u get to act3

How do you get your mana sorted? You only have one mana leech node on the tree and pretty much nothing on your weapons.

0.4 is more than enough for mana sustain with bf, dps is that high. I have sometimes trouble with wb, but then again i don't use bm in that setup cos i usualy have enough mana to whirl from pack to pack. And whirl 6-8 times before i have run out of mana. If u want u can even drop leech at all and use elreon with 7 or 8 -mana. So mana is not a problem. I even am thinking about going dual curse + discipline with some mana reservation nodes when i'll be ci. So don't worry about it. U can always use elreon like i said.
