So is the crit chance actually gone from DFP or not? Cos in the patch notes it says its gone from DF in exchange for the added flat, but the only note for DFP is the change from 110% -> 100%, the crit removal part is gone (different from the path of nerfs post).

Might still just play DFP because it probably wont be meta and the uniques wont cost stupid amounts of money lol. + abyss gems

Crit is gone as well for Prism. Its in path of nerf.

Good thing is my Doomfetches just rise in values, bad news is, I don't play standard:

i think new dfp with assasins will be good enough to play. Still not the dmg of the legacy version but it's an acceptable nerf duo to the new abbysal jewel from the league.
Btw from my calcs , the assasins still have the same crit chance of legacy version but aroung 1 M dmg less ( barrage full buffed with ggg gear, only change the bow )

There is only speculation at this point. We don't have patch notes or the Tree right now.

GGG nerfs shit a lot, but frankly this one isn't horrible. 110%->100% (oh well), and no crit on the bow. That means chance to bleed will be BiS over inc crit strikes 100% of the time now, and we'll have to do some slight repathing on the tree to get vaal pact now since it's in a new spot. Thankfully, it's only like 2-3 nodes away from where we are anyway so it's not a big deal.

Yo! Could you help us with the changes in the build? I ask this because i really want to play archer again, and DFP was my choice, but now i'm a little bit lost with the nerf consequences. I plan my characters previously the league start, so your tips will be helpfull!!

Quick 3.1 update - I still need to refine things and update thread after we have all the information on 3.1, and I dabble in endgame. Keep in mind I also have a full time job, so I will update as I can, when I can.

I'm investigating the viability of going Ascendant as Assassin/Deadeye to get some of the crit back, as well as retain the extra arrow. Possibly something like this www.poeurl.com/bD5e

Would be curious to hear some constructive thoughts on it vs. the traditional Pathfinder or other pure Ranger ascendancies.

Scion is a good option, esp. after the nerfs, you lose some mobility and utility, but in 3.1. the raw damage may very well make up for it. Don't know much about details (not planning to do a DP char in 3.1 as of now), but your pathing looks a bit off to me.

-You should always grab the 3x crit multi at the scion start ;)

-the connection through the "old Vp" isn't worth it. The new VP is just a 1p in the duelist area, you could save around 4 passive points in the ranger area by connecting from the right side.

As I said, I won't go deep into the details (is Ass/Deadeye better than Ass/Raider or Ass/Slayer or Raider or w/E, are the points for "hired killer" suddenly worth it with new VP or not), because I don't want to PoB this for hours now ;).
