ı will sell my all items(6L Belly- Tukohama - Death's door etc.) and try this build. Should i do this or nah?

I'm almost lv80 now with over 5k health using this build, challenging contents up to T10, and for me this build kills fast and one or two shots packs, feels fast and fun to play.

Though the one thing I am having difficulties with is staying alive, there isn't much for this build defensively aside from your hp pool and arctic armor. Often times if I stop dps'ing during a boss fight I will die, the split second where I shield charged in a breach from A to B if I got hit I will probably die, the moment I stopped casting Dark Pact to put down my Wither Totem, I die.

Though there's still much room for me to grow in terms of my hp pool and dps, so not sure how these problems will be like when I achieve higher hp and dps. Playing a build without your standard CwDT + Immortal Call really made me notice its absence.

tl;dr: Overall fun build, would recommend, but probably don't recommend selling everything you have to play this build.

Thank you for your advice!

I have to change my build cause really bored to play totem build. I did shaper and etc. with my totem build and im looking fast clearspeed for Spider Forest farm. My research is continues..

I started this build just recently and it's my 5th character this league and so far my favorite. There's alot of builds based around DP but this build caught my eye. The gear choices fit this build perfectly, especially the weapon.

Rippling thoughts is a very good and cheap choice and I can't see myself replacing it for a long time. Maybe a 1h crit dagger is better for bosses but for mapping Rippling thoughts is great, in lower maps shield charge and autocast cascade clears most monsters.

The harbinger buff is an added benefit, the uptime is great and the harbinger being damage immune is a QOL benefit. The build uses quite a few uniques but they are cheap. Personally I chose to help Alira to make the gearing even cheaper.

I'm only level 77 at the moment and have yet to complete uberlab, I'm also missing an enlighten level 3 and not running arctic armor which could really improve my survivability. Overall I have a lot of improvements to make and I'm missing lots of levels. Without to much of an investment I have 5.7k life and according to pathofbuilding I will have 6.8k at level 90 with my current gear. With better gear and more levels getting 7.5-8k life should be possible to achieve.

Damage is great with few damage nodes, I took all life nodes before damage and bosses up to tier 10 still melt. My gear is pretty decent, a 6-link Carcass + Daresso's with 40% increased DP damage are my most expensive items.

Overall I've spent around 600c, most of it for the 6-link. I get the feeling a 6-linked Carcass is not necessary for this build to work well. I could easily use a 5-link Carcass and a helmet without the enchant and the build would still do great. This build would've been a better and cheaper leaguestarter than selfcast frostbolt which was my starter.

I've pretty much only mentioned positive things and I feel like I have to mention a few negative things. There's 2 negative things that come to mind. Self casting DP drains HP on cast and using it to level was a pain in the ass. Before you get VP, leech and decent damage it's possible to kill yourself if you're not careful.

The second thing that I found to be a minor issue is the weapon speed, which is quite low at 1.2 APS.
Before I got the insanity crafted gloves shield charging felt clunky. The gloves feel necessary for the build to get good movement/clearing speed. I crafted 2 pairs and they were crappy, yet I still feel like I have to use them and upgrading them would be very expensive.

I would like to ask for advice regarding jewels and gearing in general. I don't have a huge budget, only around 20-30c, jewels are very expensive compared with other pieces of gear. My aim is to get resists & life on jewels to make rings & amulet cheaper and not as specific.

I wonder if I should focus on getting more resists on gear and get damage on jewels instead?

I'm curious how most people go about upgrading gear. Do you continuously make smaller upgrades or do you save up and buy one big item? How do you decide what piece to upgrade?

This turned out to be quite a long-winded post. I rarely post on forums but I felt I had to make a review of this build since it's awesome!

I can recommend this build for anyone that wants a fun build that can get started on a low budget, good clearspeed with big room for improvements(Also Dark Pact has the best sound of all attacks).

I want to add a few words of praise and say thank you to OP for taking the time to make and share the build. Good job OP! :) Thanks in advance to anyone answering my questions!

nice to see someone using the build and making a review.
Indeed since 3.0 es changes life became the only way to play this game sadly so the uniques that have life and damage on it increased their prices.Ofcourse this build would work without a carcass but a 6l life chest but the carcass jack buffs your build quite alot.
I bought all my jewels for around 20c and i dont know how are their prices at the moment but if you dont have the currency at the moment any life+resist jewel will do the job.in this case your next gear upgrade should be essence of envy crafted diamond rings since the essence costs 1-2c and gives %25 chaos damage(more than any jewel).
I checked your profiles and i can say i had pretty much similiar items to yours when i started.Next got a better amulet to get more resists/dmg so i could afford envy rings in future.next i got a better gloves for the same purpose.and upgraded my jewels to current ones.at around level 90 i crafted my envy rings to min/max and atm even ele weakness cap resists.

i have 77.why do you think 89 is a mistake?
I was able to do tier 15 pretty fine. haven't tried tier 16 yet.

My question is whats the elemental resistance?
in my hide out it says Fire 75% (142%) Cold 75% (136%) Light 75% (146%). Am i over-capping resistance?

This is my gear, please tell me what i can do to improve it more.

Hi,

excited to try out that build.

I have a short leveling question: I am using Tabula Rasa Chest. Is there a recommended 6L for sunder?

Thanks in advance.
