[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

Hey, guys! For 5l Vis Mortis what gem should I leave out? Ele Focus or Controlled Destr.? I use SGs with RS - Minion Damage - GMP - Spell Echo - Ele. focus - Controlled Destr.

Also, shoul I use a TV and 3 SGs for speed farm? 2/2? or just 4/4 SGs.

I am wondering does the immolate actually work for AG/zombies? if so was gonna theorycraft a bit with a max aspeed AG

I'd be all over the Anvil if it had Dex. As it is, with two unset rings with dex on them, I need dex on amulet. That, or I spend a passive point on 30 dex : /

I feel like my set up is not optimal and I'm wasting the potental of using a Rumi's to block cap. Spending a passive point on dex is a tough sale for me though : /, but the Anvil would be amazing.

I could change my gloves for ones with dex.

Don't need so much lightning


On further thought, I don't need the Anvil. I'm at 59/57 with Bone offering and no spell block shaped ammy. A rumi's would cap me.

currently trying wicker man + 3 vanguards. using tukahomas but it doesn't seem to give the +1 totem buff to the vanguards (necromantic aegis is skilled). any ideas?

is solar guards better than vanguardS?

I wouldn't use Necro Aegis. Your Specters dont need it, and you need to stay alive. Bone offering is amazing. You basically take no damage with 75/75 block /spell block.

was assuming that the vanguards can use double totems and get the totem dmg buff only when necromantic aegis is skilled? but obviously the +1 totem doesn't work

Ahh my bad, you're doing the shield exploit. Gotcha. Still. I say that's a high price to pay, not having 75/75 block spell block.

I wanted to share what I think is my final set up!



Havnt decided on flasks. Obviously I don't need 3 remove bleed.

I'm at 73/75 with Rumi's up, and ele weakness capped without remove curse mod.

4300hp, 2150 mana after Clarity reservation. More HP will coem with levels!

If you like burning specters, try a helmet that is immolate/minion damage/minion life. The dmg/life gets doubled as global bonus to your minions and immolate is a great synergy with the burning specters.. I have both types of helms, tried both and was shocked which one worked better.

It still kind of works, however you need to socket increased duration, which of course drops your 6L to a 5L.

Not worthwhile IMO. Some folks still swear by it though, so your mileage may vary.
