Dual wands would be suicide. Im thinking along a different path here. Grabbing the staff block nodes gives you basic blocking ( 24-30% ). Having 2 6l's gives you a ton of fire power. The staff turns the 6l's into 8l's damage wise. 8l specs with 8l zombies or golems.

This would be perfect for temple and mapping not to mention a fast clear.

I don't understand it. Why GGG is pestering this build each league? Why each league they find something to nerf?

I played summoner 2 leagues in a row. I meet people who kills guardians in a second, and they kill full HP Shaper in 2 seconds!!! And that is okay, none of that builds was nerfed since 3.0.

The speed of this build killing things is far, far, far from 2 seconds of a full HP Shaper or 2-3 seconds for 6-party Shaper guardian with 50% more monster life mod.

So why they are specifically targeted to nerf summoners to the ground? It feels like someone in their office really hates this play style and tries to completely remove it from meta.

Or there are other motives? Can anyone understand them?

Because the builds that have that level of DPS ability have less than a fraction of our surviveability, effective life, block, spell block, chaos res and all-res. You are comparing apples to oranges.
Its just GGG... Someone had a wild hair up their arse.

On the flip side they did give us some High dps items. And that is at least something. Im going to try and make the staff work for... 4 8L specs with 8 8L Zombies along with basic block off the staff nodes and we will see. Adapt...

Right now Arc anything seems to be king... Necros are forgotten.

Oh... Even with all the nerfs necro still takes a hit better than most classes out there...

You cant have pseudo-links on temple weapons, or any other temple items for that matter, they cant be elder/shaped. And stats from items dont affect socketed gems(necro aegis is only exception). So, between double wands and staff you trading damage for block chance.

But why even do that when shield+1h is more than enought to speedfarm all content.

Srsly, we got +95% damage this league for free with no triggers like it was before (which was unreliable at the best on scourge thx to low acc), with possibility to have double res on a same item and some mana life whatever other useful stats. Its nuts.

Damage is so much enought for me that I run t16 maps with freaking goldwyrm and 3 spectres. On 20lvl gem. Without +1 Vis Mortis.

And I havent started golem transition yet, which is potentially even more damage and clearspeed.

Just so much this.

I ran across a guy last season who was running a boss kill service for Guardians and T13+ maps. He was running this build with just 3 TV's on a L19 raise spectre gem and a 5-link Vis Mortis chest, wearing Goldwyrm boots and had 2 x Ventor's Gambles for rings & a 10% increased quant find amulet.

The guy was literally running a full magic find version of the build on 40c worth of gear and some MF rings. Players were handing over maps AND paying him 20-30c a pop to clear the bosses AND he was keeping all the loot, too.

The build has a huge ability to deal DPS as it is. There is not other tanky & mobile build in the game capable of doing what this build can do.
If we go the route of using flame golems in our helmet, what should be used in the vis mortis chest? I'm assuming the TV spectre setup? as opposed to the SG spectre setup. The flame golems basically replace solar guards, right?
Your missing the point... The extra 138% damage off the staff is equal to 2 extra minion damage gems added to what ever you are running. That takes it to 8L

To sum it up... You get Block. You add 138% increased damage. You get to run another 6L. A 6L zombie ass kicking fest. A 6L spec stack.

Why in the world would I not want the extra damage? Incursions are made for speed and DPS. This has that in spades... not to mention boss killing.
