Relaxing league starter?

I will go as always, Duelist Slayer pure phys Cyclone.
Very lazy and even in ssf very strong. Some guys have done Shaper on a 5-Link with a leveling uni 2-Hand sword so the power is there ^^
And the best part next to no flask management needs only life pots if u get dangerously low or Lion's Roard for burst Damage on Boss or this rotting Worm Flask for burst heal ^^

They do, though you can drop that out toward just specter later on. If you want to avoid even that, yeah, there is at least one zombie/specter build guide in the witch forum, and it really isn't changing much in this release. So, just using the 3.0 guide would see you fine in the shiny new world, if it doesn't get updated.

DPS golems are generally not good without the appropriate gems, but if you just want them as defensive, there are probably guides to that too.

Basically, all the minion trees are very, very similar, save for "skeleton dark pact", so you can bring up whatever you want and it mostly just works fine. The use of some of the life nodes for minions is pretty much the only difference on the standard trees. (You kinda want them for meat shield zombies, not so much if they are just for DPS, that sort of thing.)

You could also just stick those on a spell totem, to reduce it to one button press every, IDK, like, 15 to 20 seconds or so, with a couple of increased duration clusters.

I always start with the AW totem. You can penetrate pretty deep into maps with self found, mediocre gear pretty easily.

Then I look at all my good loot and decide on a secondary and maybe tertiary build.

For instance, I did AW Totem, then Frostblades (found 2 weapons), then Cyclone (Ng axe found)

Is cross-forum promoting frowned upon in these parts?

Because I've been working on this build as a (relatively) relaxing budget league starter.

If you take the few extra hours required to farm an Oni-Goroshi 6L "Charon's Sword" that will make it significantly easier to run the 10 acts. I know because I have farmed 5 and the 1st uber Hillock kill came in < 5 hrs. on a 3 farmer play rotation (read posts in This game is fucking taunting me... for more info). Once you get an Oni sword then the build possibilities are greatly expanded. Watch the Mathil Oni video for more build ideas using Charon's Sword. My latest fun-to-play build is a Lightning Strike / Dominating Blow Slayer and the combo of LS for mob clear speed + DB for single targets is awesome.

But for builds that are uber easy play they are the totems or SRS builds. My easiest (lowest stress) is my 3 totem Freezing Pulse Inquisitor. Only item required is the Soul Mantle chest for the 3rd totem. This is a "place the totems, move way from danger, and watch them freeze/shatter everything" build. The only thing I need to do is move if anything comes toward me (or recast the totems as a shield to block the charging creature(s) and then occasionally drink my "removes curses" flask to remove the curses.

Edit: Almost forget, you will also need to acquire 2 of the First Snow unique Jewels for maximum total freeze pulse firepower (I had to buy them).

Are there any other good builds you can recommend to start in league (i.e. low cost to start, no buttons to press, potential later to farm end-game bosses)? I thought about necro specters/zombies life based, not sure how annoying is to find spectres and how hard they are nerfed).

Would love if the Beastiary-league started with a butler serving you a relaxing welcome-drink as you wake up in Twilight Strand.
