i think it is very good helmet.
but to make use of burning damage u should replace elemental focus at helmet with controlled destruction.
while controlled destruct may drop ur DPS by about 5 percent i think burning damage will benefit u more than that 5 % .

Thank you for the advice about gem replacement! Will check overall DPS of golems with CD instead of EF in PoB and then test in game.

Fun build, up to lvl 90 now with no issue at 6,5K life.
Since POB doesn't work with spectres, any suggestion to improve further DSP and clear speed other than gem lvl & quality?

Wanted to improve survivability so i went with The anvil+ elder shield with 49% block chanse to spell block. Then i have buffed 40/35 block. Not sure why everyone goes with lioneyes, as it gives bit more life only?

Not sure you're aware of this but you can vender level 20 gems with a gcp for lvl 1 20% quality gems. Unfortunately quality on your gems and a level 21 fire golem is the only substantial dps increase you will see. Other than that your toon is looking great. Amazing helm!

For way faster clear speed for cheap you can wear a Brightbeak + Bisco's Leash.

It is very interesting idea to increase survivability :)
if you can provide a PoB of your character it will be very helpful though.

For me it's not the spell damage that hurts but physical damage. Always having fortify up helps, but still can get smacked. (I do have Rumi's and a Basalt, so if they are up I am fine for almost all hits)

Lioneye's to me not only gives a lot of life, but 30% block and a large increase to Armour.

With just flasks I have 60% phys reduction.. add fortify and phys hits go away.

Currently 92 6,500 hp.. t14 elder down with this build (trying to trigger T15.. but don't expect any problems)

Quality your gems, that's the biggest thing you can do.

Working towards a 6l vis mortis. Running a tabula atm. But the build feels very solid regardless.

Brilliant build. I haven't had this much fun with anything in PoE, ever.


I have some GCPs in stash, I was wondering which gem to first use them on, now that my helm and chest are populated with 20/20 or 21/20 gems.

Also, which piece of gear should I first look to improve ATM, given that +2 or higher minion helm with conc effect and minion damage is running very costly ATM? :(


Any other suggestions would be welcome as well.

what about spectres resistances, how much is needed to cap them?
