Elemental Overload: does it work as intended for me?
Using Doomfletch Prism, I took Elemental Overload to benefit from the elemental damage boost. But as EO procs, I don't see nor really feel like it does anything to my dps. As I mouseover my active skill, the "sheet" dps doesn't seem to change... or is it?
Do I have to use a 100% elemental skill to benefit from Elemental Overload? Last bumped25 янв. 2018 г., 22:42:32

what do you mean 100% elemental skill? EO does not care what skill you use, only what damage you deal. It should work just fine. But Im not sure if the tooltip works with prism's added damage..
Ive never played Prism but I believe people scale it with flat added physical damage. you have close to none. Also your tree looks like you joined some kind of "take as much +10 passives as possible" competition IGN: Eric_Lindros

You should see 30% more damage. Should be pretty noticeable IMO.

I meant the tooltip doesn't change: probably the way Prism applies elemental damage is the "culprit".

Doomfletch's Prism does not list its extra Elemental Damage on the tooltip, because the modifier is based on the random modifier of its original form (and being random, it's unlisted).
It benefits from Elemental Damage bonuses just fine. |

Sigh... unless I use very specific physical gear, trying to build a bow berserker, while *purposefully* staying on the left side of the tree, seems like a failure. I would be picking up maybe 6 other nodes with non-melee physical damage. I was told it was doable to do a Prism zerker; well... even with my current 6L, its barely good, at the moment...

Pretty much the single most important stat Doomfletch wants, is flat Physical Damage. You don't need to use 'very specific' Physical gear, you need to use any Physical gear.
