" Yeah I am exagerating the numbers on prupose. Though the second part of the post was more important. We dont need more stat sticks, I rather see real game changing mechanics. Though berserk is really hard to make in game like POE where everything can potentialy 1 shot you. Berserks are supposed to take damage in face to actualy enrage them, and how you are supposed to take large hits in game with tell you from every side "dont risk it". This game need more stability (in damage taking part), life leech rebalance or removal, rebalance of damage, rebalance of skills (Not just ascendencies) and many other stuff. OR You ignore the balance of the game and just give everybody overpowered stuff to have fun with. Actualy thats how this game was runing since begining. " Most of community still can't figure out how to use Hopeshredder, Shimmeron and Nebuloch because they don't know how to manage degen. It's irrelevant how much GGG will nerf degen. 20%->5%? " If regular leech is buffed and berserker damage buffs are increased further maybe it will be worth it. Right now many classes can achieve high dps with no degen or increased damage taken. Buff berserker damage or give it better leech in skill tree or ascendencies nodes. |

if you asked me berserker was already dead in 3.1 other than bloodseeker or legacy atziris acuity builds it was just plain subpar character compared to slayer, both of them are leech ascendancies yet slayers leech is superior

" Necro does it quite often, the major chaos node is often meh so a lot of builds just take the 2 minors. All you're losing is Crave the Slaughter, which is a nerf, but I don't think it makes Berserker unplayable. |

How about: Half the degen to 0.1%, so max is 5%, which is perfectly manageable with no particular investment into life regen, the Marauder just gets that naturally, you simply convert the regen into damage.
Then instead of doubling on Rite of Ruin, triple all effects. So you get 150% attack damage, 75% attack speed and 30% movement speed but have to deal with 15% degen. This will need investment, both in regen in the tree and possibly a few items, so you don't fall over dead after a fight. As Rite of Ruin is its own separate Notable, picking that is a intentional choice which you are willing to build around and not just an Ascendancy flavoring from the Rage mechanics. Maybe nerf the attack speed bonus a bit. Maybe turn the degen into a physical DoT so you can mitigate but then you'd probably have to increase it for the sake of balance, so I'm not sure if that's worth it. "Into the Labyrinth!

So the degen got reduced to 0,1, which translates in -10% life per second, which is manageable. Also we got 6% increased attack speed on a minor node, instead of 14% armour.
Berserker probably won't be meta, but at least will be playable |

I dont see myself playing melee berserker in 3.2, 40% more dmg in exchange for 10% degen and 10% increased damage taken, whereas champion will give you 30% more dmg, also gets stun immunity like berserker and 1k armor and 1k eva. The buffs gained from adrenaline are nearly identical to berserker, except for having no downside of degen. Aka you lose 10% more multiplier in exchange for tankiness. Berserker is just plain worse than champion in every single melee selfattack scenario. Not to mention than champion can act as support as the 30% more multiplier from champion applies to every single party member
