[3.3] CI Wandcultist - League starter - Fast mapper - Guardians on a 5L - Shaper down

The most obvious adjustment would be more links on Barrage :) You only have a 4L. Corrupted rares are really really cheap this league so I would look into getting a cheapish 6L rare, this is what I'm using myself
and it cost me around 5c.

Again, loko into getting a nice rare with lightning penetration since they might be cheaper then Piscators but end up a lot better :>
Also remember that attack based ES gear is cheap because nobody plays it, especially for a league starter. These two rings cost me 1c each.


For me first 12-30 levels was a drag, should probably hold on to Arc and switch after. From level 30 it was a breeze.

Having a ball so far, just would like to up my own Barrage damage as well but I know what's needed. Noticed you skipped Point Blank this time around; would you recommend avoiding it?

Point Blank is a great single target boost but I thought that I'll get some decent jewels first so that my clearspeed doesn't suffer. Unfortunately for me I haven't seen many on the market, might be that people are just starting to craft with Abyss jewels.
Once I finish taking Melding cluster I'll definately pick it up :)


IMPORTANT PSA: Looks like since Barrage projectile changes, GMP is no longer a viable link. It's better to use Added Lightning instead. This will save us some Chromatics since we only need 3 off colors now :)

Also, if you use Vortex in Cwdt, then switch over to Cold Snap - it has much bigger AoE :)

thank you so much for this build - really having a blast playing it...Died several times in incursions (too greedy) and some of the bosses suck while leveling..Other than these deaths its so much fun..Recently went back to PoE and played Pure Strength RF, Mjolnir, Windripper MF and this build - fun wise your build is clearly no 1 followed by Mjolnir...

For leveling I found a Vaal PowerSiphon in the first vaal area and used it since...Normal PS isnt that strong but since switching GMP in its atleast fun - tested KB yesterday and shiiiiit I shouldve used it earlier ^^

Thanks for the clarification on GMP with Barrage - will switch to Added Lightning today and try it out..Currently hoarding C for a 5 or 6L and Thunderfist.

And hyppppeeeee on your Thunderfists - holy smokes these are awesome!

Keep up the good work - could be that this build will ascend to the top spot of my personal list of awesome builds..

The only problem with KB is its massive mana consumption. I think it's best to switch to it once you reach the mana leech nodes, which is around level 50- something.

Bought new boots after dropping an Ex and Kaoms


There's another, similar pair for 1.5 Ex with a bit less ES, definately a steal at this point in the league :)

Edit: regarding Thunderfists, I got them for 1.5ex and coloured it for 15c and cost of vaal + chromes, ask @masterservice in game for access to his service, 100% recommend him and he coloured my gloves 2 leagues in a row.

Leveling gets hella easy after you get a 4l, some flat ele damage gear (prism weave and maybe wake of destruction.) I shit on every thing and the only problem I face is sustain sometimes. Can be fixed by going more life based instead of hybrid but I don't like switching it later using regrets so I did not follow that. Overall, I think this is a very viable leaguestrater provided you have some idea as to what you should be doing.

I'm playing this and having a lot of fun so far. The only change i've made is swapping out KB for PS. I enjoy PS as a skill a lot and i haven't had any issues with it so far. I'm working on getting links and gems into slots and i'll be good to keep pushing higher maps. Great build!

why did you remove the skill tree links...

I didn't, must have broken after patch changed the tree. I'll update them once I get home :)

Edit: Ok, I must have removed them by mistake, really sorry about that. For the time being, you can download Path of Building and import the pastebin in the levelling section, the basic levelling trees are there up to around level 50. From there you just continue to get your tree looking more or less to what is in the passive trees section.
Or, you can just check the tree of my character in Incursion. I'll fix it asap and sorry for the mistake.

Edit 2: Fixed, rewrote leveling section (again, probably 3rd or 4th time now ;D)
