So I feel I may be ready for the Jedi secret. The answer for my biggest question about Uberlab:
How the hell should I deal with traps?

I was running this build in FlashBack, where I ended up like 10 runs through the entire event, because I was just consistently dying to traps. I was running Arctic Armour, with literally no difference at all (compared to my current setup).

The issue is the same this league: I'm really trying my best to dodge stuff - my mech's are obviously has some room to improve here - but mea culpa zero attackspeed WB is just not practical to dodge stuff for my.

So after 2 leagues, still not feel comfortable running the lab at all. It like: whenever I misstep I'm dead. Unfortunately the lab is full with traps, sometimes they are stack up, and also I found: I'm not leeching from the totems.

Feels like the Immortal Call is not really helping here either, and I have no idea what to do.

Maybe more movement speed? Maybe different flask? I feel miserable about this.

Imho the traps are just ridiculous, and yeah I know "just build a jugg and poop on traps", but I really wanna find out if there's anything to work around this. August 1month event is coming and I really wanna run this build and do some labs too.

So what's the redpill? (If there's any. If not let's figure out something - a specific lab setup or whatever - cos gitgud is not an option i feel.)

Hi, i did UberLab twice with this build (died at last Izaro the first time due to my mistake). I don't realy see a problem in doing it, you just have to be carefull and know what you are doing. Traps should not me "facetanked". Watch them and you should learn how to avoid taking damage. Some things help: have a 20% quality instant divine life flask with bleeding removal. Better have 2. Have a quicksilver of adrenaline. If you don't need damage flasks for fighting Izaro, have a Granite and a Basalt flask for traps.

If you are having trouble at Uber Lab, you may wanna consider doing a few merciless lab runs to practice at the traps.
sorry please delete

Recently respecced my elementalist to this build. Working fine right now and I'm able to do red maps comfortably with a fairly low level char. However, most of the poe-ninja builds I see for BV seem to be players stacking multiple golem auras instead of triple herald. Can anyone who has ran both builds chime in on the differences?
Love the build so far (not done with main-campaign yet)

- I have a question - Could be me who are missing something.
Controlled Destruction gives you 100% reduced crit chance - Yet we go for a lot of crit multiplier and chance.
- It is working fine for me, but how does that work?

Just finished the campaign for the very first time(so this is my first character). Still have two more labs to do before I begin looking at maps but wondering if someone could please look at my character(should be public) and give some tips on what to focus on first as far as upgrades. I'm sure the answer is virtually everything but some direction to start with would be helpful.

I do feel squishy atm, likely due to resists. My resists were OK until I finished the campaign as I assume I got another debuff to them, now they mostly below the threshold. Especially chaos, -29% right now : /

Pretty sure I've thrown away a million upgrades too by being too worried about losing sockets/links.

Get a Tabulas rasa (12c) for BV and 2pcs of Divinarius (2c each). Make the helmet 4 sockets and set in order your gems/spells. Buy rare rings/amu/belt/boots with life/reses on them for few chaoses and you are good to go for your lvl.

Thanks alot. So in the main guide where it specifies which slots to put which skill/gems setup that doesn't really matter?

Should I aim to buy the weapons with any particular sockets already on them or just buy cheap ones and try craft the sockets I need?

Only have 8 chaos at the moment, so will have to do some farming but will apply your comments above as soon as I can.

having increased critical chance in the link brings the crit chance back to 80 - 90 %

Whenever I run lab, with pretty much any char, I always bring at least 3 life flasks, 1 of which is an instant recover. That way, as long as you are fairly patient, you should be able to get through any combo of traps.

So you just got to maps.

If you could buy a Tabula Rasa, you should. They cost around 15c. If you can't, priority would be to get a 5L body armour with GGBBB to put Blade Vortex - Hypothermia - Physical to Lightning - Controlled Destruction - Increased Critical Srikes. This will be quite cheap.

Second: Buy a Hrimsorrow gloves.

Third: Buy a Starkonya. Look for good dexterity and life rolls.

Fourth: Get your 3 Heralds running.

Mana will be an issue, so try to link your Herald of Thunder to Curse on Hit - Warlord's Mark.

Your rings - amulet - belt should focus on geting the life and resists you need. You can get some life/res on your body armour as well.

For boots, look for at least 20% movement speed + life + res.

From there you can start to work your way on maps to make currency and get the other stuff you need to get the build to it's best.

I just made this character over the weekend with quite a bit of currency, but for some reason I'm not loving it. It doesn't feel as fast as I thought - wondering if I can get some advice on what I can upgrade. This is my current gear, which includes a Brightbeak/shield and a swap to dual wield dagger/sceptre:

And my flasks are:

Efficacy should be replaced by Critical damage support, more damage.
Pls note "attack" damage modifications don't apply to BV. Many of your items have those, needlessly.
Warlord's mark + Shaper ring combo is good extra damage and also free up some gem slots for other skills.
Weapons and amulet also could be upgraded for more damage.
You can cosider respecing your skilltree for more damage.
Other than that.. you are pretty much there and I believe you should clear maps fast even with your current gear.
