Fix for Fliker random stops

I'm making a flicker build and I was facing a problem where the flicker strike randomly stops despite I had mana and frenzy charges, so I found a solution to this problem by mapping the flicker skill to the left mouse button and hold down the shift when u attack this will make the flicker to attack always and mitigate the random stops.

Those who r doing a flicker build I would love to hear a feedback on this issue.

Also I wish for this post to be pinned just for a while to help those who r facing this problem because the random stops really make the flicker build useless.

what is your stun avoidance?

I couldn't find "stun avoidance", I found "stun recovery modifier" which is 40%.
stun is action interruption

most of the flicker builds are glass cannons. they are relatively safe as they keep on flickering, but very vulnerable when they are stopped by stun or freeze

solution depends on a build. some ascendancy passives include stun immunity, some characters can use Unwavering Stance keystone (or Kaom's Roots that provides it). Evasion characters can use "% chance to avoid being stunned if you killed recently" boots enchant in combination with stun avoidance from passives in Ranger start area (or even from some items). For some builds it can be enough to use Soul of the Brine King pantheon passive, which prevents from being stunlocked.

Thanks for ur reply, My build is Duelist slayer. (I should have said this in my first post)

If I equip the Kaom's Roots, someone told me then I sould get from the skill tree iron reflexes. so the evasion I get from dexterity doesn't go to waste. yea I think I'm gonna go this path.

Without looking at your build it hard to tell if this is a good idea. And btw evasion from dexterity is disabled with Iron Reflexes

Put "Senju_" into path of building and u should get my build if u want.

OH!! I just noticed that my slayer ascendancy I can choose Overwhelm which gives "cannot be stunned" this is much better than using unwavering stance.

I've done a Flicker Strike build a couple of different ways and never had that problem. It will only stop if there's not a monster close enough to attack.

It happens to me in the middle of monsters and then I get killed.
If you don't use shift, and you try to flicker while your mouse is over an enemy that is out of range, your character will try to walk towards that enemy instead of continuing to use flicker strike. So if you don't use attack-in-place, you need to be careful not to hover your mouse over any enemies that are out of range. If you keep the mouse in the centre of the screen you should be fine.
