Ain't minion skills notorious for being bad at the very beginning? Especially when you're using zombies/skele which are limited in numbers until you get passive points.

Pretty sure you want to check what twinked means. Having Storm Cloud from the very first level you can use it is twinked. Not that it is super difficult to do, but you usually don't get one from drop that early on.
You can use minion gem AND firestorm that early on, so that you actually clear quick enough... But then again you can sit here and complain instead (and if I recall correctly, you sure enjoy complaining about petty stuff). Whatever floats your boat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also: Sunder is technically melee. Sunder slams mobs like motherfucker (TBH even Ground Slam is slamming like motherfucker, but whatever). Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. " 1) Minions are notoriously bad early game. Everyone knows this. There's a reason why no one levels as minions but as Firestorm. This has been going on since like........ day 1 of open beta, so not sure why you think it would be any different now. 2) You can't get a Stormcloud early right off the bat with 0 currency, especially on day 1 of a league. If we're playing the 'I have leveling uniques' then I have a tabula 6 link with sunder and seven league steps. 3) You're actually pretty awful at the game, and it's pretty evident based on the fact that you think Incursions are difficult or something. And no, Stormcloud will not outclear Sunder. Sunder will shit on Stormcloud for days unless you have a 6 link (aka Tabula). At lower levels of links, Sunder is king and wins out 100% of the time, as do many other decent skills (Traps in particular will be faster on lower levels of links). " Minions have been bad at leveling early since the beginning of time. The problem isn't Incursions, it's that minion scaling early is awful. Two, good luck getting a Stormcloud starting out with nothing. Not everyone gets an Alch early. Even if you did, Sunder still shits on it as well as Traps, Firestorm, Freezing Pulse, etc. because they simply have more dps. Three, Incursions are fine, especially at maps. They inherit map mods so all this bitching early on is ridiculous. And new traps are not worse than Firestorm, they are significantly faster especially Arc Traps on a 3 link. Finally, if you don't play the game anymore go somewhere else or don't post about the league if you're not willing to take the time to learn the league or play it out.
