[3.5 Video Guide] Poet's Pen Arc/Freezing Pulse + CoC GC [Trickster or Inquisitor]

im getting smashed on t11's myself, although i have a bit less crit and more hp and dodge than ghazzy setup here.

i havent been using frostbomb though, which im going to put in and see how it helps.

Is the only reason for using clear mind so that we get a larger effective HP pool? It would seem that wrath would give a huge boost here.

Interesting build. Decided to try it out myself. Seems to be greatly lacking in the single target dps area tho. Could barely kill T8 Bosses. Decided to make a few changes and well now I can handle up to T15 pretty easily and that's in item quantity gear. Cant kill guardians yet but can kill everything else on the T16 map.

Crit wasn't working out for me so I got rid of it. I put Arc with lightning pen and controlled destruction and did the same with freezing pulse ( Cold Pen that is). I also Use a swap for bosses not sure if its the most effective spells yet for the swap still comparing them but its currently glacial cascade with physical to lightning and concentrated effect as well as ball lighting with lightning pen and slower projectiles. Had to change all the crit nodes out as well in the tree. Running a double curse on hit setup as well warlords mark and elemental weakness. The build concept is defiantly interesting but I don't believe its viable as crit. I feel you lose way to must from not having 90+ spell crit on both of your weps in comparsion to other non poet pen crit builds. I also took elemental overlord in the tree since i was no longer crit based.

I'm still lacking a bit defense wise which is why i'm having problem with the guardians not sure where I can get more def from was thinking bout swapping out the item quantity gear but dont think that'll be enough. Was thinking of running determination but i didn't realize it was % armor not flat so that wont work since I barely have any armor to begin with grace may be a viable option tho it will lower the ehp from mom can reduce that slightly tho with enlighten. Just thought of using essence worm that would make it so you could use one aura without any mana reserved might give that a shot.

* Decided to try out elemental equilibrium since you're constantly attacking with two different elements.So far it seems to be working out pretty well.

Hey Ghazzy,can you give some advice how to better link swap Pens for single target, as well as if requires skill tree changes/gear?

Is inpulsa's really worth it if youre not elementalist? at least i think you dont make use of the shock effectiveness as well. I would think keeping HoI and wearing a loreweave might be better. Will probably try that

Been working on this build so far so good I do have an inpulsa but it is only 5 link.2 g 3 b any idea what I should socket for it out of the power siphon setup? i'm thinking of removing concentrated effect and keeping the physical to lightning. What do you all say any suggestions would be appreciated .

looks really kick ass. gonna give it a go , i have a lvl 94 shadow that's been waiting for a good build since discharge got the nerf hammer. thxs for posting it :)
