Were traps totally unusable pre incursion?

It will avoid useless posting of exactly what I said. Traps are OP and make Arc very good. On it's own as self cast it is trash. I have ton of ppl that played self cast Arc and the end result is always the same. They change to traps/mines or start a new character. Because SELF-CAST IS BAD at endgame. I will tell you the same as the guy above. Go Find Me A Video Where Arc SELF-CAST trash content. Or simply DOES BOSS! Let's lol together at Arc Self cast and remember that THE TRAP is the only way to make it work. Go Ahead Guys! Traps were ok.
Firetrap was op pre-AoE, then pre-Prolif nerf. Bear Trap was always for bossing. I need more purple titles

Traps were powerful enough before.
Ice trap, bladefall trap, were enough to instagib everything, especially with the chaos conversions. Cooldowns were never a serious problem since the idea of traps is to throw and run, and you can overcome that by having multiple traps. For example, i loved using fire traps as a continous dot, and spamming firestorm and bladefall. And add a culling bear trap for more loot. (the unique give you a level 20) all i had to worry was not having enough mana. (a 6l bladefall trap is very costly.) No reflect, good damage, various weapons available, good defense... It was pretty balanced in my books. |
