Is this build any good for a complete noob in the game that wish to play like a nolife and wants to do ALL the content on the league?

I've played Spectre build once and I really enjoyed it. Leveling was smooth, mapping was super fast and easy (with Solar Guards) and end-game bosses were like a piece of cake (Guardians, Izaro, Shaper, Red Elder). I've found your topic when I was searching for a new league starter build, and I must admit that you did a great job with the description, leveling guide and stuff. The one thing that bothers me however is that you are repeating quite often that this build have low defense so you have to dodge stuff and "stay aside" most of the time. Hopefully it won't be that bad:)

I really like fast and well-balanced builds, so this one perfectly fits.

My comments are more of a comparison to traditional 70/70 block cap necro build with which you could stand in place and literally tank damage. That was a lot more newbie friendly. Atfer block and Mistress of Sac got nerfed, Necros needed a bit more care in their play style. Essentially, I don't want anyone to misunderstand this build and be disappointed.

Since block is a major investment now, I pushed DPS as high as possible to kill everything before it kills me. Phase Run is just about the only real defence I use. Although I did experiment with the Cat Aspect as well. It's actually pretty good, but rare and expensive.

However, I do have a phase acro version of this build which I used with the 40-second fortify snap shot trick to delve from 650 onwards. You can find a description of that in the Alternate Builds section.

The main problem with that would be losing easy frenzy generation, which works out to be a drop of 25% dps. I actually did test it out, but if you look at the T16 UGS clear speed demo, you can see that 4 fire-eaters and 11 phantasms have no problems clearing. I don't even use GMP or LMP.

That's an interesting idea!
It'll be a tight squeeze, but with reduced mana reservation, you could use both! I might test it as well.

If you don't mind dying while you learn how to play the build, it should be OK. Once you get the hang of the build and the boss mechanics, you can do everything in the game.

How would you value Taunt or Blind jewels for minions? Not really needed?

It's not really necessary as you will kill everything before they can hit you. Only the big bosses don't die immediately and they are immune to taunt. However, if you can get it on your jewels in addition to %damage or %cast, it will definitely help. Although blind and taunt only proc off minions that 'attack', so only the stone golem (or skeleton when using trigger craft) can proc it and so it's not worth prioritising.

Would this work with Solar Guards as well? Any changes to gems?
