Trade bots.

JFYI,

Recently, came across this while trading some chromes for chaos.

Traded with a dozen or so bots.

Typical behavior:

1. Copy paste from trade channel into chat.
2. Player/bot responds immediately. (same response time from every bot).
3. Trade window opens. I had to click 'accept' first... EVERYTIME.
4. Trade ends.
5. "t4t gl hf" was the response from the majority of the trades.
6. No response from any of the bots when I tried to communicate via party chat or pm.

Most of these bots are ran by the same person which is hilarious since they sometimes break.

All same classes and same hideout.

Came across one too, and sent an email to GGG about it. Probably the best course of action. Then they can look into it and compare with whatever else data they have, and hopefully take appropriate action.

Look I know botting is a bad thing, but at least it's a lot faster and bots actually respond to whispers.

Yes, but if they proliferate, it could have consequences. I'd also not refuse to have some kind of bot for currency flipping.

I do not mind trade bots, they provide liquidity in the market. They are like an auction house

reddit mostly likes trade bots because of the utility they provide. bloody opportunists. and ggg likes reddit, the botting community that downvotes people voting against botting.

so it's likely ok.

i would insta ban trade botters and people openly favouring it.

someone teach GGG Devs how to code a Auction House, or pay me, ill code it for you. problem with trade bots solved.
