Trade bots.

What build is that? I bet you can... only real issue with SSF is specific watchers eyes. Otherwise it's G2G. I've built basically anything I wanted things that required very specific hardware with no div cards available to farm - like +3 molten strikes balls, like inpulsa. Just takes longer. Which is a good thing IMHO. Instead of league lasting me 2 weeks lasts 2-3 months. Maybe I'll go back to trade one day... I was decent at it banking like 50-150 ex every league but I wasnt having fun anymore.

It's obvious as hell which people are running bots with their own private data streams. If you put an item up for sale and within seconds start getting pm's then you know.

What i've been doing is putting those that pm right away on ignore. Since its usually the same people flooding the trade with fluffers that just sit there afk.

So if you get pm'ed right away, just put them on ignore and relist the item for higher.

Just don't respond to them but don't put em on ignore list.

You said it and i said it previously: LONGER. too long i'm not here to run one build per league, i usualy run more than 5 to 10 and could even run more if days were longer and work less heavy ahah no point to go SSF.

Is SSF a good thing ? For players that want some immersive gameplay SSF is surely the best place, for those that want to build, test, and run like i enjoy to do since 5.5 years no, clearly not and will never be the case the drops are centered on regular game, not on SSF.

Does regular leagues stop me to stay more than a month ? No, except when it reach the point where economy become shit, wich is happening since few leagues, and it will happen again.

Don't get me wrong, i like SSF, and have no issues that players like you have a lot of fun in i had my fun playing SSF before the gamemode was even an official thing.

I don't want an AH either not because it would be bad as all sheep says everydays on this forum because they heard that one or two AH failed in video games history, creativity of GGG guys is amazing when they do the effort they could turn an AH into a masterpiece if they wanted to probably i've no doubt about that.

I just would like to see GGG putting an heavier focus on trading "improvements" ( to paraphrase Chris: "Faster datas" for example ) and finaly end this mess, if they can't then i wouldn't bother to see trading removed.

Anyway, rest of the game is fine, more than ever :) Nothing can be perfect after all.

Uhhh, those aren't bots those are flippers and you just put up something below market average.

You might be surprised, but there are people of play POE by literally watching dozens of poe.trade auto refresh tabs ready to pounce on a cheap deal. The more advanced ones use their own (legit) trade programs that perform the same function as poe.trade but with less delay on listings.

Flipping bots are “GGG’s remorse” regarding ingame trading and what it turned into. At time, when Chris published his bloated “trading shityfesto”, the whole game was at least three times smaller then now, in every aspect. Now there are 3 times more unique items, lab helmet enchantments, fragments, currency items and so. When shityfesto went live, exalt price oscillated around 40-50c, now it is 150 c, while almost every “endgame” piece of gear is listed in exalts.

No problem for somebody, who have some chaos and trying to exchange it for exalts. But for somebody, who wants to exchange… lets say 1500 fusings for chaos and then chaos for exalts due to better rate of such transactions, trading bots are inevitable necessity, unless they want to waste few hours to buy chaos from “non bot traders”. Moreover, current trading is bugged as hell. Even if somebody finally responds, ¼ of transactions in “sellers hideout” is bugged somehow, with “unexpected disconnection” or “cant join the instance” thing.

The introduction of “currency AH” would be the best solution, but GGG will never do this, because they have limited themselves in this long outdated “shityfesto” and now refuse to admit, everything has changed. Instead, they tolerate “trade bots”, what is kind of clunky, online only AH and they pretend, they do not know about it. Personally I appreciate flipping bots existence, as thanks to them I can flip big amounts of different currencies without stupid timewasting and… “players interaction”.

I've never spent more than 5 minutes trying to convert currency. Usually somewhere around midgame, just after i've reached maps i liquidate everything (even alts + Chroms) into exalts to buy my endgame gear.

You never spent more then 5 minutes to convert currency, becouse, with all respect, your "endgame gear" is worth max 5 exalts. My endgame (uber elder and every "endgame boss" killing) gear is at least 50 ex worth, with "advanced crafting" involved. In delve I spent about 3000 chaos to gamble (chaos spam) mirror worth ring, in Betreyal I spent about 1000 c to gamble... mediocre quiver (from my point of view) and about 6000 alterations to gamble elder ring with "lvl 12 warlord mark on hit" and +35% melee damage in one ring. Good luck with buying 6k alterations without trading bots.

Actually thats pretty easy by listing chaos for sale at a competitive rate. People will kinda do the work for you.

Time consuming. I don't want to fiddle with dozen's of offers and flipping like that. I want to buy 6k currency in max 3 big tranactions and do my gambling then. Your method is good, when you want to sell some unpopular shit in bulk, like 50 shitty prophecies for alchs or chiesels, to have some alchs or chiesels. In that case you can do mapping and answer "bulk only", whens somebody want to buy 1 or 2 pieces.

If you will list currency "at competitive rate", you will be instantly flooded with spam from people, who wants to buy up to 5c for alts, and this spam flood will last at least 30 minutes after you sell out. No, thanks :)
