" The best Armageddon Brand Ignite DPS I saw was around 100k maybe 150k Shaper DPS. This build end DPS is around 1M1 - 1M2 Shaper DPS, it also have more reach and screen clear due to the projectile nature of Scourge Arrow. The Armageddon Brand builds are generally more tanky though. First of all, thanks for the build been having a great time.
While waiting for Hale Negators to go down in price I have been using whatever trash I can find on the ground and I got this pretty veiled mod. I have been using it mostly to ignite a boss adn then kite away for a longer time then I would normally be able to do. Thoughts? PS. in the Jewel guide you suggest getting a "#% increased Damage over Time while Dual Wielding" jewel but I assume it's supposed to be for 2 hander not dual wielding? |

" I'm glad you are having a good time :) That's a good mod while waiting for Hale Negator/Lightpoacher, I wouldn't pick it over the 2 Abyssals sockets of the unique helm but it's still useful versus bosses to kite them. Was thinking of getting one with lightning damage while affected by wrath. |

" I don't recommend picking a Watcher's Eye, even a triple Wrath with %Lightning, Phys to Lightning and Phys as Extra Lightning will not outperform a decently rolled Abyssal Jewel. Wait are you the guy who just posted on reddit poebuild sub with the fire brand shaper run? I am also on a fire brand character and is thinking about transition into either this or my beloved pp arc. How would you compare this to the fire brand character you got?
In terms of 1. Smoothness in map - Imo fire brand isn't exactly the smoothest thing 2. Boss damage while fights gets messy - the brand sticks to boss so I think it is great in this regard. Cleared mastermind first try too. I imagine scourge arrow to be great too with how it works? Do I need to aim the main shot at boss? 3. Delve - Again. Armageddon Brand really isn't the greatest in this imo. Do you think Scourge arrow can do a much better job? Don't need to be BV or arc level of feels good ofc. 4. Syndicate fights - How do you think this build will fare against the messy fortress fight? on Armageddon Brand it's quite easy as you know. Thanks for the cool guide btw |

" The league market has calmed down a lot so I think it's a good starter now. The required uniques cost a total of 9c (Hopeshredder, Hrimburn, Stormfire, Dyadian Dawn) + the cost of a Tabula Rasa if you don't farm it yourself on the Blood Aqueducts. I think it's affordable since it is items you will not change later (excepted the Tabula) and you can push high tier maps with just that. " Yes that's me ! 1 - Scourge Arrow is smoother. More movement speed, less delay before the actual damage, Ailment immunity. I also prefer Blink Arrow over Flame Dash, it's more precise and can go really far. 2 - I would say it's a draw. Brands are indeed cool in that aspect, but you also want to cast 5 of them and drop them on the boss for a good burst of damage so it can lead to awkward situations. Scourge Arrow is really good at bossing, you do have to aim at the boss to get the maximum Ignite but after you hit him you are free to concentrate on fleeing and dodging which is very comfortable with the mouvement speed of the build. 3 - Scourge Arrow will outperform Armageddon in Delves. More reach, less delay and the prolif is great when escorting the cart because of how narrow Delves are. 4 - I haven't tried it myself yet but I think Armageddon Brand are better here, I would not risk going into the fort with the Scourge Arrow build. Maybe the prolif is enough to reach inside the fort but I would have to try it to be sure. I think Scourge Arrow will be better overall mostly because of how smooth it feels to play it. Hey, I have a quick question. What approach would you take to increase Chaos Resistance to survive better against Syndicate this league? I've been practically only focused on getting Chaos Res for my Aurabot, I had this question pop up in my head while leveling this build.

Hi and thank you for this awesome build! I am currently leveling this build in betrayal league (around lv 48) together with a friend who plays zombie necromancer and we have a really good time so far!
Now I am nearing lv 60 and I'll probably get a hopeshredder the moment I do so. I am a bit afraid of the 200 cold dmg taken per frenzy charge part of the bow though. How do you deal with this? With 75% resistances it will still be 150/s with 3 stacks of frenzy. Do you have a way to mitigate this or do you play a second bow for movement only?
