I use woke Inc AoE and Woke Added cold for my 5Link herald of thunder+Ice in a +2 Calamity.
I've around 2x the Herald of ice dmg that people had last League.

Edit: I know it's worse than a whole 6link swap but this way it's a lot more enjoyable for mapping

Edit2: If I had a semi 7Link helmet sure it would be better to swap the setups around. But it's not that easy to craft one. None on the market either.

Hey mate, thinking of playing this after pretty much finishing my Vortex character (that I'll keep as is for bossing, clearly). Did you play this untill you could afford HH ? If yes, did you farm T16 with it or did you focus on lower tiers ?

.. Well, I started out as EA Build Respecced the Character into Toxic Rain, Respecced again into KB Wander farmed up a lot of currency to improve that character a lot.

The KB Wander is really insane for AoE Open Map Clear.
Anyway I just farmed tirn's end square with 3 Watchstones and awakening lvl 7.
I'd not suggest anyone to try my Autobomber Setup yet. I still need more time to min max it.

Edit: I got both my Headhunters with a few ancient orbs.

Damage on heralds is global, so that might be worthwhile. Every gem is kind of neat, but levels are much more sizeable than quality for most stuff. Don't worry too much about it.

which brutal restraint jewel do i need? i know in your PoB it says 3230 but is it Asenath, Deshrat, Nasima ? out of the 3 which do I need?

You'll notice there is not any Keystone in radius of the jewel, though mine reads 'of Deshret'.

It actually doesn't matter since the 3 only affect keystones and your not using any in that jewel node. You'll want to just divine spam it until you hit a brutal restraint that is giving at least 2 nodes of 5% movement speed, and then some providing elemental damage and minion damage. Think mine took like 5 divines until I hit one. You just have to keep socketing the jewel in after you hit it with a divine and checking all the nodes and the bonus it's providing. You'll also get a ton of Dex from it which will allow you to use haste lvl 20 (unless you have a HH in which case youl have enough dex because of it)

So from what I gathered, Rippling Thoughts is not meant for single target and we should have Cospri's Malice as a weapon swap for shaper, elder, guardians, metamorphs, and generally any other hard bosses? (this would also affect the gloves setup because we would need an attack like cyclone or blade flurry?)

That is correct. You would want to socket your CoCS setup in either the helmet or the body armour. I will look into a small revamp to the guide now that I'm done with exams, which will hopefully give more insight into this issue. In the mean time, this is all I've got for you. Best of luck!

It works, it's fun for softcore. You'll die every now and then IF you are running T16s AND killing bosses / metamorphs, and you need a better understanding of how to build a character than in previous leagues, but I'm rocking it in Standard as always and grinding my last couple watchstones with it.
