can replace boots with rare boots, ammy is replacable with rare ammy, shadows and dust for rampage (movespeed), can even squeeze an inspired learning in there.

only issue i have here is that you'd need some kind of singletarget 4L or a weapon swap. Was thinking Vaal BV or WO.

Yes, you have to guarantee that the heralds crit (or shock and freeze) or they will not cause chains.

I'm not really satisfied with this =\ . Shield charge is an action, and that is being done a lot throughout the map, you're using it to move around, and you're using it to trigger rippling thoughts. You have to aim it and spam it. does that make you less of an autobomber? I dont think so. I use phase run for movespeed, an instant cast ability that doesnt require aiming and lasts 10+ seconds and I hold down winter orb if a legion rare or boss is being a bit tanky, I'd wager this variant puts less energy into actually playing the game, does that make me any more or less of an autobomber than yours? I dont think so.

I understand though, I'll do me and you will do you. I'm just a little dissatisfied with the, almost, dismissive response.

I don't mean for this to come off like I'm attacking your build or you. I'm not a big fan of shield charge spamming, it drains me after a while, that's just me. So I put some thought over the last couple days to create a more movement speed centric playstyle only to get called not an autobomber lol

I dont think you can as these builds heavily rely on Ambush and Assassinate's 100% more crit against enemies on full life to achieve 100% chance to crit on HoI to chain properly

Hey, thank you for voicing your concerns and disagreements. If you'd like to get technical, your post talked about using a self-cast spell setup during regular play, while there is not a single thing to cast in my guide, besides use-and-forget casts such as auras and Summon Harbinger. Cospri's Malice and The Rippling Thoughts trigger spells, and these, very much like the effects of our heralds when shattering or killing a shocked monster, are fully automated.

I get that you'd point at Shield Charge to dismiss my argument, but it honestly boils down to making the optimal choice. If attacks stopped being the best means to navigate through maps, it would be a sensible choice to switch to spells instead, and if both turned out to be worse than simply walking around, it would be wise to use Abberath's Hooves.

You see, I'm not trying to stop people from adapting concepts to their needs, in fact I encouraged you to do so, and I believe I gave valid feedback about reframing your idea into more of a caster that makes great use of a very powerful Herald of Ice to aid with the area of effect. I simply feel that it is disingenuous to play a "Vaal BV or WO" build and call it an autobomber, but once again, it is none of my business and it is fundamentally a pointless discussion.

That's awesome to hear that you weren't being serious, and following that trend, I'll take for granted that your previous post wasn't serious either, as it is clearly stated in the guide exactly all the gems you'll need, and where to socket them. It's colour coded and all, to aid with the reading comprehension.
